I bought this pair of booties in black. I tend to like booties with a sturdy-looking heel and lace-up detail for a trendy and feminine look that still looks functional and this pair fits that description. The cuffs, while small, can still fold up and I think it looks prettier that way because my calves are quite big and my ankles quite small which makes my legs look angular and muscular. With the cuffs up and the slimming effect of the black color, it smooths out that awkward shape. The only complaint I have is that the rubber tread on the bottom is pretty thick and slightly heavy. Because of that, the shoe can look and feel a bit bottom-heavy and chunky looking, but gives very good support for all day and high-impact walking. The inside lining is super super soft, conforms to your feet, and is very cozy!

Nice boot with one exception. The purple interior liner, which is super soft and velvety, shows through to the outside of the boot (at the laces and tongue area). I wanted a brown boot, not a brown boot with purple accents. Too bad, really cute shoe!

This is a great shoe! I'm 5 feet tall, so it was fun to add a little height and they're pretty comfortable. I have them in black and the grey tweed, which I get a lot of compliments on. Great for jeans or skirts.

Honestly, these are the best shoes I've ever purchased! I am 5'3" and want extra height, but heels usually leave my toes a bit numb from the pressure they put on the balls of my feet. These are fantastic! They give me the extra height I need, are so comfortable (no numb toes and don't hurt my bunions), and I maintain balance while walking. I wear them in a play where I am running down the aisles and up stairs and am able to keep my balance and at the end of the night, my feet don't hurt a bit! I have the black ones but am thinking of ordering them in the brown as well because on top of everything else, they are cute too! A great buy, you won't be disappointed!

Very comfortable, looks great with jeans/tights tucked in and scrunched socks. I got the brown tweed and find the look very versatile!

I loved the width of the heel. I was not a bit unstable when walking. I had major surgery on my foot and these booties were extremely comfy. On my bad foot, I might buy a small cushion just for one part of the shoe, but otherwise, for normal feet no cushion would be needed. They are darling with the little cuff at the top, and the laces are really generous and makes cute large loops when tied. This is a show stopper, that looks great with a skirt, or jeans. Get them!

Take out your credit card and buy this shoe immediately. Sexy but office-appropriate at the same time, goes with most everything and super comfortable. I have literally scampered miles around Chicago in these booties and I can wear them all day with no discomfort. I've gotten loads of compliments on these shoes from men (they pay attention to our outfits?!) and women alike, almost every single time I wear them. I love these shoes so much, in fact, that I bought the black herringbone as well. (As a previous reviewer mentioned, I also think the booties look better with the fold-over flipped up). Buy these boots right now.

Looks great, feels great! A lot of height and very stable with no pain. The rugged sole is cute. I got the dark brown and I think I'll be wearing them with everything this fall.

Wow! I love these shoes. They are super soft, sturdy on the soles, and not too tall that I have issues walking in them. They will look good with long skirts or short ones, jeans or leggings. You can even turn up the top for a pixie sort of look if you want to tuck in leggings. I got an 8.5 and 9 to try. Both fit, but the 9 has a bit more room in the toe area in case I want to wear tights or socks. I usually wear an 8.5 in a shoe. Just a preference to go up a half size. Get a pair before they are sold out, you will love them.

I ordered these and was convinced that the heel would be too high for me to wear and would be incredibly uncomfortable. I loved the style though and wanted to try them on anyways though, just in case. I'm so glad I did! The bigger, but not super chunky heel is sky high, but the platform and waffle soles help make walking in these booties so easy to do and I could not believe how comfy they are. The padded insole is great. So happy with these.

Very cute. Moderately comfortable. If I keep them, I will be adding a gel cushion in the toe box to counter the downward slope. I think they run a 1/2 size small. I usually wear an 8, but got an 8.5 just in case. They fit like an 8 should and I could've even gone to a 9.

Love them but as a previous customer wrote they ran small I ordered a half a size up, which was a mistake. I think they are true to size. Now they're sold out and I'm stuck with a bigger boot, but they work with a fat sock. :) Great boot, but order your true size!

I love these shoes. I have the slightly tan colored ones and they are amazing. I got a size 10 and it's great with wearing thicker socks and if you want to wear thinner socks I just put padded soles in. That look so great and you can wear the collar up or folded over. They look thick but the shoe is pretty light. Great with Fall season fashion.

I love this shoe! It is pretty comfortable and very very high! Looks amazing with leggings or stockings and a dress. Walked about 2 miles one night in these shoes while on vacation and only started to feel a bit achey towards the very end. The only issue I have is the material doesn't seem like it will hold up in bad weather and also easily gets scuffed (which looks like chalk).

Cute fall/winter shoe. I haven't worn them yet but am looking forward to wearing them with tights/dresses. They have surprisingly good "tread" which will be helpful in snowy winter!

These are very cute shoes! The only thing I do not like is that although the bottom is primarily rubber the bottom of the heel is not. That is a little slippery/awkward.

These boots are much chunckier in person than they are in the pictures. They are still cute boots, but I am too old for the profile of the shoes. Also, they run a little large. Normally in heels I take a 6½, but a 6 would have fit much better. When I called to make an exchange I talked to Zoe and she was fabulous! And as always, I love the VIP overnight shipping.

Very disappointed! I never pay this much for shoes and the cheap ones outlasted these. After wearing 4 times, the sole on both shoes are completely separating from the shoe. The velvet material does not hold up well either as it has already rubbed off from my pants. Hope I can return them...it's a shame because they are very comfortable.
