I have searched high and low for a good-looking carry-on piece of luggage (that meets the size requirements) - that has a zipped compartment on the outside... for ages and finally found this gem. I couldn't be happier with it!

This is the best carry-on suitcase I have ever owned. The outer dimensions are standard carry-on (I've had other bags that say they are, but end up being an inch or two over) so no one will ever tell you that your bag is too big (or even worse, find out it's too big when you are trying to stuff it in the overhead compartment on the plane). This bag is also magically roomy on the inside. I used the Eagle Creek packing cubes and packed a crap ton of clothes, toiletries, and work supplies into this little suitcase. There are 3 compartments on the inside portion of the 'lid' - one of which is perfect for books and paperwork. The outside is sturdy, and the wheels are smooth. When I bought this bag, my heart broke a bit, because it is a bit expensive (at least for me), but once I got it, and used it, I knew it was completely worth it. Now I want the big suitcase too!

The lining of this suitcase was sewn in poorly at the handle end. The fabric was tented up (could not be easily pushed against the adjacent suitcase side). This compromises the space in that end of the suitcase. Just seems like sloppy construction. This review tool is made for shoes, unfortunately. I would have tried to exchange for another one, but we are leaving in less than a week for a trip and I am afraid there won't be time to get a replacement.
