Great shoe! I have extremely wide feet and have always found it difficult to find comfortable shoes. This shoe fit great right out of the box. The style is a nice balance between sporty and casual. I liked it so much I'm getting another pair in a different color. If you have wide feet; get this shoe. You will be glad you did.

Needed some comfortable wide-width shoes. I'm 66 years young and had bunion surgery a couple years ago which forced me into a wide width shoe. You may not know that the off-the-shelf selection of wide shoes is narrow (pardon the pun) even in a city the size of Houston. Enter Zappos. Found them simply by surfing the 'net,' found what I was looking for, ordered, and voila, they appeared on my doorstep a short time later. The shoes? Very comfortable. Still scratching my head about the color but they are styled nicely in my opinion. The reviews helped in that they confirmed that the size was true. I'd order from Zappos a second time in a heartbeat. Very happy to have found them.

Brands I'd also recommend: I like every Rockport shoe I have ever purchased. This is my 4th pair. I recently bought a Clark dress shoe which I'm satisfied with as well.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! The multicolor design makes it a perfect travel shoe because it looks great with jeans, khakis, etc. Finally I convinced him that he can have the comfort of a tennis shoe with a bit more style.

Casual lace-up shoes usually come in two categories: those that look like an athletic shoe and or an easily forgettable black or brown lace-up.This is a shoe that looks very sharp and is extremely comfortable to wear. It comes in four colors. I'm very pleased with the tan/dark brown. Enough so that I just might buy another pair in another color.

Love the shoes...hate the laces. I can't keep them tied without double knotting them. Otherwise they're great. I'm in and out of wet surfaces and tiled flooring...no slipping. Style is great.

Great shoe, very comfortable. Seems to run a little bit wide but otherwise fit is good. Compared to Steve Madden or other similar style shoe I'd say these are of higher quality and I expect them to last a long time.

I have been a Rockport wearer for many years and the City Trail2 Stripe didn't disappoint! Extreme comfort and support have always been the benchmark for me, which is probably why I keep coming back for the brand. I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear on a vacation to San Francisco where I knew I would be walking almost everywhere. These shoes have been fantastic, very comfortable, not overly large and clunky like most true walking shoes, and look nice as well. These were exactly what I was looking for.

Very comfortable shoes. I have a very difficult foot to fit as a 13 Extra Wide, but these are great. They also have a very nice appearance and not too dressy, but acceptable in a work environment. There are a few caveats to this shoe though. The laces that ship with them come untied constantly. This seems to be a trend with most dress shoes, but a quick replacement with a flat pair of laces did the trick. The lighter colored threading appears to be fraying very quickly and noticeably so in some spots. The lighter tan color rubber on the sole is peeling very quickly as well, within days it was starting to come off in spots. The shoe also made/makes a very weird squeaking noise when you walk, especially at first. As the shoe broke in, this has dissipated a bit though. All in all, a nice shoe, very, very comfortable, but a few caveats with the build quality.

After less than a year of wear I'm updating my review. Their uppers are great but the soles have already worn through all the way to the leather. This is from normal to moderate wear. Style without durability sends these shoes to and early grave.

I liked the look, and the fit was OK, but the leather on the right and left sides of each shoe (background to the stripes) were slightly different colors on each shoe. That's not good.

I purchased these shoes and had issues with two pairs. They were somewhat comfortable but the first pair began squeaking one month after I purchased them. I sent them back and got a replacement pair and after five months the seams on one of the shoes began unraveling. Zappos would not exchange them since they were worn for five months. I would not put much faith in the quality of this shoe unless you plan on wearing them for less than a month!

I ordered these shoes as walking shoes for a trip to Europe. I've worn them countless times and I am still amazed by the comfort these shoes provide! Probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life. I will definitely be getting another pair of these when they wear out!

I have big and wide feet. (13 4E) it is always difficult to get shoes that fit comfortably. In the past I have simply gotten New Balance sneakers, to be honest. These Rockports are fantastic! They are actually more comfortable than any of my sneakers. I am going to try some different Rockports. It is great to have the variety. Well built shoes too! Five starts!

My husband loves these shoes. He had another pair of Rockports that were more of a tennis shoe style and I wanted him to have something a little more versatile but still comfortable. I haven't seen those old Rockports because he hardly takes these off. Comfortable right out the box. Great Christmas gift.

I've only had these for a few weeks, but they are quickly growing on me. I was skeptical of the style from the images online, but they are much sleeker and less clanky than I had feared. The support is fantastic and they seem to be incredibly well constructed. I would say they feel slightly narrower than I expected, but I wouldn't necessarily adjust your shoe size for it or anything. Just beware that they are snug for those with a slightly wider foot, like me. Go for it, these are great!
