I am 62 years old and have been running for 49 years, The shape and size of my foot is the proverbial "average." I am not prone to injury. I am primarily a trail runner but run roads as well. I am a two year zero drop user and was looking for a true shoe (as opposed to VFF's for instance) that was zero drop and that had low weight. Both pair of my trail shoes are from Inov-8 so I gave these a try. I found them to fit my needs well. They are light, they wrap my foot well and the lacing system, while different, is comfortable. I have taken them as far as 14 miles at a time. You have to remember these shoes are not only zero drop, they have zero padding. I cut my zero drop teeth on no padding using VFF's so this shoe is no different in that regard. The only thing I see as a negative is that the sole seems to be wearing somewhat rapidly. Enjoy.

Cute and fashionable but caused heel problems due to lack of support. I used for crossfit and found the soles to be slippery when doing box jumps. Too expensive for what you get. Sticking with basic Inov-8's.

I use these shoes for crossfit and a bit of running. They are nice and wide for my feet without being too long. I previously had the 195s and I liked them, but they were too narrow.

I like them. Very lightweight. Very minimal, with no cushion, heel, or support -- promotes better form. Sole is a little stiffer than the F-lite 195's I have, which I think works better on pavement. They do seem to run a little big, however, consider ordering 0.5 sizes smaller than normal.

Service is astoundingly customer oriented, returns no problem, shoes are great. This pair is the most comfortable shoe I have put on, like being barefoot with support. Sizing is true and room in the toes.

These are the best minimal shoes that I have found to date. They are intended for use on smooth, paved surfaces by advanced runners or those who are fully transitioned away from clunky motion control style shoes. If you are not transitioned and have no clue what I am talking about, do not buy these shoes as you may end up causing an injury. My pair had a slight manufacturing defect involving on of the exterior lace supports. It was digging into the side of my foot. Next time I took them out, I wore thicker socks, and the shoes seemed to break in and stretch a bit, and the problem was totally resolved by the fourth run, although I continue to wear medium weight socks. These shoes have helped me to develop a much improved running economy. Beware of rocks, acorns, etc. as you will feel them and they will hurt! I love the new 2013 color way. Hopefully it will not take Zappos long to get them in stock!

These are great shoes! They most definitely hold true to their name, they feel like wearing nothing. They are everything I had hoped they would be. They are incredibly light, fit like a glove with virtually no break in time, the nearly zero toe to heel differential is perfect for my circuit training workout. I will say they run about half to a full size too big. I take an 11 in Bike and could have taken a 10½ in these. Also, I have wide feet and they fit me perfectly. Get a pair, I highly recommend them, and then go for a run in the mud.

Zappos is an incredible site from which to order. Not only due to the variety of offerings, but the quality of their products/service and the promptness of delivery is top notch. Inov-8 are the lightest shoes I have every owned. The soles are a but thin, which allows you to feel sharp rocks, but the fit and feel is great.

Set a new walking PR the first day out. Right for me in many ways: bunion stretch, support in the footbed, just enough cushion for a few miles walk, cool, and cute. I will buy another pair.

I have been running in inov8's for a couple of years, I currently run off road (grassy trails) in the F-Lite 195 and on road in the Road-X LITE 155, and my everyday shoe is the Merrell true glove. I was looking for a road running shoe with a little less support/cushion/drop than my 155's (which have very little to begin with). I like the feel of these shoes with the "tongue-less" design, but the toe box feels a little smaller than my other inov8's (I even tried 1/2 size larger too). Also this shoe has a considerable arch support for a "bare foot" stye shoe, granted it's small compared to the typical heavy cushioned shoe, but still very noticeable to me.

These are great shoes for weight lifting with an emphasis on compound lifts. These have a very low profile and have a flat enough base to keep you stabilized while doing squats or dead lifts. These feel a little narrow, so if you have wider feet you may want to look elsewhere.

Brands I'd also recommend: nike, new balance,

I received these in the mail today, and they are going back tomorrow. I ordered a 5½ (my usual) and they ran quite large! But my biggest issue, was the outside height at the ankle bone. Immediately, I could tell that it would rub uncomfortably. Not a good fit for me. They seemed like decent shoes, though. Definitely size down when you order.

I wear size 9 or 9.5, when I talked to them recommend to buy 9. The shoes is so small that I cannot fit my hand in it. The picture and recommendation of sale person was deriving! The shoes do not represent the quality that has been written about it. I recommend do not waste your time over this shots, they are poor quality! I am disappointed about over all!
