I recently purchased this for my 11 year old. I got the XL and it is a little big, but that's why I purchased a size up. I wanted something that he could grow into and would last a while longer. It's a very nice jacket and perfect for Alabama weather.

Bought one in red and one in blue for my twins. They love them. They are excited because they can be warm without being restricted. These appear to be very thin "jackets" but I am assured they are great for cold weather and winter sports. My son fell in the mud (so he said) about 2 mintues after getting this jacket. It repelled the dirt and I can't even tell where the mud was. That makes me happy. The simple design is stylish and attractive.

SUCH a nice coat and runs true to size. We live in Germany and the weather changes by the minute. We really needed a coat that was good for all kinds of weather and temperature. The Triclimate jacket is the perfect match for us!

The jacket is perfect but the completely amazing part of this transaction was that I ordered it on the Saturday before Christmas (which fell on Tuesday) -- and, much to my surprise, the jacket arrived before Christmas. I had no expectation of a Christmas delivery since the only days left were a Sunday and Christmas eve. Way above and beyond, Zappos! Thank you very much! I highly recommend the jacket as well. Our local store didn't have my son's size in stock -- but Zappos did!

This is a great product. I purchased it for my two year old and we cannot wait for the cold weather. It is light weight, fits well and looks great. I love the concept of the fleece with the liner. I also bought The North Face snowdrift bib, and North Face toddler boots with it! Calling all snow.... we are ready! Just need a good hat now...

Nice versatile kids jacket. The North Face jackets seem to fit kids much better than other jackets we have tried. Most others are wide and not fitted at the bottom. Our 5 year old loves this jacket.

I love this! I ordered two for my twin boys and they are wonderful for fall with just the fleece, winter with both the fleece + shell zipped together, and spring with the water proof shell as a rain coat . I ordered them a size bigger than they are and they fit large, but that is exactly what we were hoping for, so they would last through out the whole season.

This is a nice jacket but it is seriously lacking pockets! No gear pocket on sleeves or chest. No inside pockets. He doesn't want cargo pockets on his pants where they will be in the way. Adult TNF jackets have tons of pockets. Kids carry stuff too people! Aaand the hood doesn't stow away so it is always flapping around!
