Perfect. As a runner who does not have a typical runner's body i.e., I'm 5'4ish and 155 pounds. I have a lot of trouble finding shorts that are comfortable and don't ride up. Actually, I'd never found another pair until I found these. For me, these fit slightly below the waist (not truly low-rise, but not at the waist either), and the legs are indeed pretty loose, as another reviewer mentioned. For me, as someone who has fairly large thighs and who wants shorts to stay down when I'm running, this is a good thing. The lack of that extra space is exactly why I hate other shorts. The large fits me perfectly, and now it's either these shorts or long compression shorts for any warm-weather athletic activity. I've tried to find other brands that match up to these, but I haven't found anything as good after 4-5 years of searching. I highly recommend them if you are a curvy runner who has a lot of trouble with shorts riding up: while they still do it a little bit every once in a while, it's enormously better compared to any other non-compression shorts. (If you really want shorts not to ride up, get some 5 or 7 compression shorts, but these are a lot more attractive than those, and arguably more comfortable.) I also have a zillion pairs of these just for lounging around.

I am a man and I wear these women's shorts. In the 1970s we (boys) wore this exact same style in gym class, basketball team, track, and cross country. I wear them now when I run because they are comfortable. We have to be dry, too. I like the variety of colors (I won't get anything with pink in it). So you should market these for men as well as women.

If you are looking for perfect running shorts you have found them. These are my favorite shorts ever and even after being worn and washed many times they still feel and fit as well as they did the first time I wore them. They are expensive but I will never go back to cheap cotton shorts after finding these. The built in underwear is also a plus.

I have many pairs of these shorts and I love them! They are great for running, lounging, etc. I also like that it has a small pocket inside to put a key. I am a size 10 and wear a Medium.

These are the best shorts ever! This is my fifth pair, and my favorite color as of yet. It is nice to wear bright colors when running in gloomy weather. That serves as an instant pick me up!

These shorts really are perfect. I like how they are roomy enough to work out in but aren't too baggy to where they look weird. Also, I want to say that the length is ideal. Not too short and not so long that they look like grandma shorts. For a sizing reference I wear between a 10 & a 12 and the size L was perfect on me.

These are my daughter's favorite shorts. If she could get one of every color, she would. She says that the shorts are comfortable. I like that they are a classic style, keep their shape, and maintain their color wash after wash.

Great workout shorts. It's currently winter and I've been wearing them at the gym without extra leggings. If I were to go for a run outside I know they'd go great with compression leggings underneath. They are comfortable and easy to wash, & seem to keep me cool so I have no complaints.

I LOVE THESE SHORTS!!!! They are great for everything and I wear them all the time. I do track and volleyball and I have a trainer and i wear them for all of these activities. even though they say they are for running they work for literally everything and they are the dri fit material so they don't show sweat. like you can even wear them out like running errends and stuff. I just love these so much!!! i have 5 pairs and I want more!!!

I bought these for my daughter. She loves them. They are silky and soft, and perfect for track and drylands for swimming. I was a little worried about selecting the correct style. She was very specific that the shorts not go straight across her leg on the outside, but that they should scoop up. She was very happy with them. If I were to purchase more for her, I would purchase XS instead of S. They ran a little bigger than what we had hoped.

Perfect fitting running shorts: great length, elastic waist not too tight (avoiding the dreaded muffin top), and great color. Best running short I've found. For size reference, I am 5'4" and 110 and got a S.

I love these shorts. I'm tall but I have muscular, bulky thighs so I need something to cover them up as much as possible when I work out. These are great for running, walking, and any type of outdoor exercise. Very comfy, they don't ride up, they don't shrink in the wash, and they dry quickly. Can't find one bad thing about them.
