I really like it! What I especially like is how the spout is close to the top of the pot to allow for more water; the handle lifts the spout cover so only one hand is needed. Handle stays cool to the touch; easy to fill. Like the fact that it whistles; and it's beautiful.

The polished steel is the new jewel in my kitchen! I am totally enamored of the design. Easy to use, and the handle/spout really does work beautifully. I ordered the polished, but the brushed arrived by mistake. The nice young woman at Zappos arranged for the correct one to be delivered the very next day! Love Zappos!

This is a great looking kettle, and it has a large water capacity. We like everything about it except that totally anemic whistle others have mentioned. OXO usually has such great products, I'm stumped as to why the designers can't figure out how to make an expensive whistling tea kettle whistle. If you're in another room or down the hall, you will not hear it. We usually use an electric kettle (it's fast with a great whistle) so this one is backup for when the power goes out, but still... Fix it, OXO. If it whistled like it should, I'd highly recommend it.

Beautiful design, but it wheezes instead of whistles. Unfortunately, I will return it for a kettle that whistles.

It's a tea kettle. I can't for life of me see where the "max fill line" is? It's supposed to be inside but cannot see it. You have to really push hard to get the lid completely on. It looks nice. It is comfortable in the hand, but it's probably one of my least favorite purchases. My old one was better. I'm not one to complain about a price, but I have to say this tea pot is over-priced in my opinion.

Great looks, great design, but literally stinks. The smell is making my wife sick. It appears to be located in the filling lid. I'm pretty sure it's the silicone seal.

The cork broke off the lid handle immediately. The cork version is badly designed.

So far I have not been able to get rid of the metallic taste. I have even gone so far as cleaning it with bleach and it still has a metallic taste. I am positive I would like it if I could use it. I hate to throw away a really nice tea kettle but I also require a kettle be practical. If I cannot get rid of the taste and the item cannot be returned, then I will have to purchase another brand.
