Very happy with both the purchase and Zappos' service/delivery. The interior of the bag is incredibly roomy, I am able to fit all my school books and laptop inside. Very masculine colors and style. Only complaint is lack of organizational pouches inside, other than a small zippered pocket and the laptop partition.

I love Dakine bags, but my last one had a zipper that broke on the computer compartment. The thread unraveled. I only had it for a year and a half. Even though they have a lifetime warranty, they made me jump through a million hoops to verify that it wasn't my fault, ie - Pictures - letters - phone calls. Finally I paid to ship it back and it took another month to get a replacement. This was the bag that I replaced it with. I was pretty excited to have a computer bag again, but they made some design changes. For the worse. First, it feels really big for a computer bag. They also moved 2 zipped pockets that lived on the outside of the bag - to the inside. It doesn't sound like much, but now I have to unbuckle and unzip my bag whenever I need to get to the things I like to get to fast. ie - airplane tickets, head phones, phone. They also removed the helpful open pouch that lived on the back. You always had a place to stash stuff like mail or work papers. Now I have to unbuckle to put anything in or take anything out. Again this sounds minor - but a bag shouldn't slow me down - it's a computer bag, It travels on the train, plain, car - it should have easy access to secure compartments. On the upside - they moved the zipped computer compartment to the outside - this should make my like easier in the airport security line. Dakine is a smart brand, their customer service can take some Zapposing though.

Great bag at a great price. Plenty of space. Well made. I bought it for my son and wish that I had it for myself.

Great bag. Only issue is no dedicated storage for power cable or other cables needed for a laptop. Comfortable and way easier to carry than a standard bag.

Overall a great bag. Plenty of space to carry a laptop and a few books, but at the same time it isn't too bulky when you only have a few items in it. Seems to be very well made. My only complaint is that there are no pockets on the inside of the bag, and there is only one small zippered pocket on the outside of the bag underneath the flap.

Brands I'd also recommend: Timbuk2, Ful, Manhattan Portage, Ogio,

I love my bag! It has enough space for my Macbook, and padfolio and I can toss my lunch in there, even my resuable shopping bag! If there was a sleeve on the back, just to slid things in quickly it would be grand! But it is really a great bag!

I bought this bag because my initial one from walmart broke within two weeks of owning it. This bag is sturdy, comfortable, and has not come undone. I use it on a daily basis.

I purchased this man purse especially for a 3-week European cruise. Wow, it was absolutely great. It fit the bill as a carry-on and fit the bill as a carry around throughout Europe. Zappos is great to work with, friendly, solid customer service and prompt delivery. It just doesn't get any better than that.

I purchased this bag, for college. It is durable, light weight, and a really great bag. I would like to have a few more small pockets, though. I would recommend this bag.

A good carry-around bag for my computer. The front zipper pocket is great for keeping stuff I always need. The Velcro flap can be a bit noisy. Would be better without it.

I've owned over the years a lot of different messenger bags over the years. I'd been a messenger back in the nineties and like the functionality and style of them. To my picky mind, this isn't really a messenger bag, it's more of a less professional looking "attache' style" bag with with a large shoulder strap. It's not a big pouch like messenger bags should be, this bag is flat, for storing papers/books and a laptop. That's not to say it's not a nice bag, just that it's not really a messenger bag. Onto the good; It's a good size and the padding on the shoulder strap is a help when you're carrying a lot of books. The strap doesn't seem to slip, it seems sturdy and looks nice. Plus it looks like it could take some mild abuse. Also, it was pretty inexpensive. And now the bad; It could use a few more small pouches on the inside for small items. As well it could use webbing on the sides for water bottles or other small junk. I think it would be an improvement if the laptop pouch could be removed. I don't carry a laptop most of the time, and there's a lot more space in the bag if the laptop pouch be removed via a zipper or similar. It takes up so much space, I'm tempted to rip it out/cut it out/rip the seam (with a seamripper), but I worry about the appearance after that, (And possibly causing large panels of material to come apart ripping the seams). And lastly, it doesn't bear a lot of weight perfectly comfortably, while the strap doesn't seem like it's going to slip, with a lot in the bag, it can dig into my shoulder, even with the pad, the stiffness of the straps material can make it painful with a lot in the bag. It's a good bag overall, the laptop pouch does take up a lot of space, and should probably be removable. As well the idea of webbing on the sides for a waterbottle on the outside makes more sense, keeping beverages away from the contents (papers and laptops given its closeness to an attache' shape). The laptop pouch and lack of webbing being my primary complaints, but overall still a good bag. Hopefully the stitching is good, and will bear weight well for a good amount of time, but for that one has to wait to find out.
