Like other reviewers, this is my go-to active bra. I always pick up a couple each summer before vacation, as they are great for hiking! I didn't travel last year, so I guess I missed the resizing. I mistakenly ordered new ones this year, got them, tore the tags off, and tossed them in my drawer. I just went to put one on and had a heart attack. The old medium fit me perfectly and the new medium I can't even get on, it's so tight! I thought I was crazy, but clearly not! Now I'm stuck with pricey bras that don't fit! Funny, I didn't think to read the reviews of something I already knew and loved. Also, I love Patagonia, and have never been steered wrong! But this time, woah! What happened? So 3 stars, 5 for the old style; 1 for the new!

I agree with the reviewer from 5/24/11. Having owned a few of these bras in the past, they are now markedly different in quality. As the other reviewer said, cheaply made and less stretch. But they kept the prices the same didn't they.

This bra is my favorite for running and biking. Just enough support, very comfortable. It's soft all over, no scratchy seams. It runs 1 size small.

Very nice-looking except that it tends to flatten the chest. Seems to run small, as I've found with other close-fitting Patagonia clothes. Fabric is great, no chafing and very comfy.

I WAS LOKING FOR A SPORTS BRA WITHOUT THE TOTAL COMPRESSION. THIS WAS IT. I LOVEDTHE FABRIC AND THE STYLE. MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT WAS THAT THE FIT WAS ON THE SMALLER SIDE. IT FIT A SMALL A/B IF YOU ARE A B CUP ON THE LARGER SIDE I WOULD GO UP A SIZE.

I ordered 2 of these bras last year and loved them. So I was surprised to order the same this year and have the bra feel really different. In particular, the arms holes are cut differently and were very uncomfortable, cutting into my armpit. Also, the material does not feel the same, it feels less stretchy and cheaper.

This bra is different from previous versions of the active mesh bra, which I loved. The fabric is nice and smooth but less stretchy, tighter. I ordered my usual size, M, but was a struggle to get the bra over my head and on properly. Not like earlier versions.

I ordered this Patagonia Active Mesh Bra based on all the good reviews on the internet. I received it today and was very disappointed. First, the material feels rough, and it is not stretchy. Second, the sizing is off. I am 5'4" tall, 107Lb, 34A chest, and the size S I ordered fits uncomfortably tight. I could have exchanged for a size M but the cheap feeling material is a big No No. I have been a big fan of Patagonia for years and not sure what happened to this product.

I bought this bra to wear with racer back shirts and it works good. Does not have complete coverage, shows a little cleavage. It is very comfortable but not suitable for active wear more like lounge wear.

I love this sports bra. It looks good, is comfortable, dries quickly, does its job, and lasts well. This is my fourth one-- I keep two in my rotation at any time, and each one seems to last about four years.

Comfortable and well-fitting. Not sure how they would perform with a larger cup size than mine, though (32A-ish). I was worried that the straps would dig but they don't at all. Have ordered 3 more.

I am a 32A and bought an xsmall. I really like this bra. It stays in place and there is no bounce. It might be a little tight though.

This bra is perfect for hiking, running, yoga, cycling. Everything stays put, the band isn't so tight that I can't breathe, and the straps stay comfy under backpacks/Camelbaks.

So I call my top half "a big picture with a little frame." I'm a 32G and they aren't fake. That being said, I love this bra. The medium fits me well enough for lazy days around the house, yoga, and they are insanely comfy to sleep in. I'm not going to run a marathon in it or anything but the ladies don't fall out in downward facing dog. I gave it 4 stars overall because the straps are too long for me.

I purchased this in the Flora Graphic/Sky color because it was so pretty and different looking, I had to try it. I followed the advice of the other reviews and upsized to a Medium (I am a 34B and should be a Small according to the chart). The M fit perfectly, but the design of the bra made me look flatter than any other sports bra I own and I didn't think that was possible -- not flattering at all. The disappointing thing was that there was a lot of bounce for so much squashing -- not supportive. Would be perfect for yoga, but not so great for running. The inside fabric is a lot softer than the outside, so I found it to be comfortable, just not perfect. Probably won't buy another one.

These bras are quite comfortable. I am a 36DD and have trouble finding comfort in bras. It is basically a minmizer. Good for layering in winter. Too hot for summer. I ordered an xl last in spring and fit great. 6 months later ordered a black and white in xl and is tighter and straps shorter. I have to lengthen straps to be able to wear.

I am 36A. Usually buy small but decided to order a medium instead. This bra was so small that once I got it on, I could not get it off! I think it will be comfortable tho so I am exchanging for a large.

Loved the old styling and sizing. The new sizing is so small and unstretchy that I can't even get the bra past my shoulders. I thought I wasn't going to be able to get out of it. Too bad, it was a great sports bra.

I bought one of these bras in August 2012 and got the XS (info on the inside of the bra says "Fall 2011"). It's fairly tight, I probably could have gotten a S, but I can at least get it on and off and it's comfortable. Because of my experience and the reviews, I bought a S this time (info on the inside says "Fall 2013"). This version when laid on top of the other one I have is the same size, but with a lot less stretch; I couldn't even get the new one on. Plus it had a faint chemical/plastic smell, not something I was expecting from a company that's always promoting their environmental friendliness. Very disappointing, and I think Patagonia has really gone downhill the last couple of years. I'm a 30B/32A and would need at least a medium, but I'm not even going to bother exchanging.
