My commute includes a lot of walking, and I'm always struggling to find shoes that are comfortable enough for the hike but with a high enough heel that my dress pants don't drag. Think I've found a winner in these. They crack me up. From the front they're city-slicker wingtips, but from the back they're all cowboy. I got the bordeaux, but I'd describe the color as auburn, a medium reddish brown, no purple. They look narrow, but I ended up with a 7.5, despite my wide-ish foot. They did need a little breaking-in time. My first pair of Frye's, probably won't be my last.

Sadly, I must be the only Zappos/Frye customer who finds these uncomforatble. Too narrow in toes, too wide in heel, and the turned up toes become painful for me. Very sad because Fyre works 9.9 out of 10 times for me, and the leather and perf on these are gorgeous.

I feel very lucky to have found the only size eleven in the turquoise! Wow, the color is a tad lighter in person. But beautiful nonetheless. This shoe is so like a boot, because of the stable heel and construction. After looking and comparing it to the Carson boot I have. We determined that this shoe is very similar in the foot area. The fit is about the same also. More definitely for the narrow foot, as most Frye styles.

Wow! These shoes/boots are a work of art. I call them boots, because the vamp comes up very high, and when wearing them, they really feel like a very stable cowgirl boot! Lovely wing-tip design, beautiful color. Turquoise color is not quite as dark as pictured, but quite striking none the less. Very comfortable and stable to walk in, couldn't really take them off once I put them on!

One of the most comfortable oxfords I have ever had on my feet, Break in period was fast. I have 3 pair! My only regret is that they don't come in black...or I would have them too.

These are dancing shoes! The thick leather sole is made for dancing the two step! They go great with Cowgirl style Wrangler jeans. This style is just enough different from boots so that they get noticed too.

Loved the Carson, hoped this cute style would be as good a fit. The heel cup is too wide so the shoe slips up and down when I walk, narrow toe box. Going back.

The pictures does these shoes no justice. I basically ordered them because of the 100% five-star reviews, and -- Wow -- was I blown away when I put these on! Besides being the absolute cutest (in a good way), most comfortable shoe possible, they make it possible for my short-and-stumpy legged self to wear wingtips with bare legs and dresses or skirts! The heel height is just perfect -- not too low and not too high, and I can be on these all day long! I am a big fan of Frye's solid construction, quality materials, very reasonable pricing, and I love made in USA!

Brands I'd also recommend: Frye's only!

I got the Maggie wingtip in turquoise. If you plan to order these, you need to know that they are not a two-tone spectator type wingtip as shown in the picture. I was hoping for the two-tone effect but the color was actually a lighter shade of turquoise like the top of the shoe in the picture. Also, the color is a little swirly, somewhat splotchy. These are not at all distressed like last season's Maggie's were. The leather is smoother and shiny. Unfortunately, I got a defective pair with incomplete seams at the shoelace area and the seams are falling out so I will return these. I still want the turquoise so I hope the next pair they send are free from defects. Turquoise looks so good this vintage wash jeans. Funky! Also, I must mention, usually Frye shoes are perfect. This pair is just a fluke. I own 4 pair of Maggie's. Cognac are the absolute best and most useful color, but funky turquoise are so fun for a change. They run half a size long, width normal. Wear thin socks. Super comfortable. Best shoes ever.

I have the Frye Maggie wingtip in 4 colors. I just got them in cognac after serious debate with myself since I have several other Frye styles in cognac. They came today. They are spectacular in cognac! It's the best color for this wingtip style. All the perforated detail really stand out in cognac. You can't even see the detail in the dark brown Maggie. Also, this season's version of Maggie wingtip are shiny leather and not all beat up looking like last year's. I also have them in stone and blush and they arrived all scratched up and vintaged, sort of dirty looking. I get the funky idea, but I was thrilled that this year's new colors are cleaner looking and not scuffed up. As always, I order half a size down. I'm a 9. I take these in 8.5. They run long but not wide. Thin socks work best. Maggie's are super comfortable, modern, casual. A perfect shoe. If you are debating what color to get, get the cognac. They are perfect with jeans plus you can dress them up and they aren't shabby looking. The cognac have a very finished look.

I own many Frye shoes, and the Maggie Oxford is probably one of the best fit right out of the box. I love the detail of the shoe, the fit is perfect, does run a little big, definitely go a half size smaller.I got the Bordeux color, and its very versatile: can wear with jeans, leggings and skirts.

These are about the coolest shoes that I have ever seen. They truly do run half a size long so order down half a size. The width accommodates socks. The leather is distressed. Wear with beige patterned cotton men's socks for an urban chic look.

I loved these shoes online but they were even better in person. I breathed in the heavenly scent of real leather as soon as I opened the box. They are more of a mustard brown than a mustard yellow which makes them more versatile for me. I was afraid they would be too clunky with the manly style and cowboy boot like heel, but these are a perfect ladies' oxford. They have a beautiful worn patina straight out of the box, the shoes have a narrow look overall, the punched leather gives them a more delicate look, and overall the shoe curves from toe up to heel gorgeously. They have a comfortable insole and provide good arch support. My only problem is that the toe box was a bit narrow when I ordered my regular size. I reordered half a size up but do not want them too loose. If they are too big, I am sure that the originals will stretch with a couple wearings. I will be wearing these with dresses and tights this fall.

First, I'm a die-hard Frye fan, and I wear a size 10 generally. In the Carson oxford, I wear a 10 and I like that it's not a snug fit. My sister sizes down a half size, but I stick with 10s. But with the Maggie, I found the size 10 made my foot slide down and get smushed in the toe area. The size 9.5 held my foot in place so I had more room in the toe. However, I was going to get these for spring in the blush or taupe, but found the shoe just too clunky and a little odd colorwise, so they went back. Now that it's almost fall, I'm thinking of trying these again in the mustard or oxblood. I'd love a new color though! Also, since I'll now wear socks with them, I'm not sure if I should go with 9.5 or 10. I wonder if they'll stretch out a bit?

I ordered these first in a size 10 which is what I usually order when other reviews say that the shoes run small, but ultimately had to send them back for a 9.5. They are great looking shoes and super comfortable. I travel a lot and there arent many pairs of shoes that Im willing to wear through long days in airports and walking new cities, but I have worn these regularly and my feet are happy. Highly recommend these!

The Frye Maggie Wing Tips are amazing! I am normally a size 7 but ordered a half size down based on previous reviews and it fits perfect, the heel adds height without discomfort and the leather lining and perforations are perfect for letting feet breathe in the summertime. I wanted a shoe that would blend nicely with my tan/olive skin tone, to elongate my legs, so I ordered the mustard vachetta; however, the color is quite a bit brighter than anticipated, so I'm thinking about returning for another color. Question: Do any Frye Maggie fans out there know if the "blush or stone vachetta" will patina?

Swank - Gorgeous! I'm 47 years old. My 16 year old daughter really likes these (on me). Absolutely dream-perfect heel. They do fit snugly. Numerous other reviewers often suggest to order down from your regular size in Frye footwear. I find the opposite - I have to order slightly up. My normal size is 9W, but I need a size 10 in all Frye's. The color blush is a slightly warm beige, perfect neutral. Nothing pink about it, except that it's just a warm, neutral /natural go-with-everything color. A stunning, well crafted, work-of-art shoe. Enjoy! Frye is the only brand I can wear anymore (my feet are too wide for nearly all other brands, except Ugg's). I don't mind the price. I'd rather have only 5 pair of well-fitting, gorgeous, comfy shoes in my closet vs. a closet full of hurt-my-feet shoes. Buy these while you can get them!

These are the coolest & most badass shoes ever. The quality of the leather and the workmanship is superior, and they look fabulous. I've needed to break them in slowly, but I expect these will become the most comfortable of shoes, like the Frye Carson Oxfords I've been wearing for the last 6 months.

Love these shoes. They look great with jeans, dress slacks & will be great to wear with bare feet & roll up jeans & cargos. I am a true 8.5 & these fit true to size. Leather is great quality & I really like the vintage look to the shoe. They did not take any time to break in -- as always Frye quality is the best. You won't be sorry you ordered. You may even want more than 1 color like I did!
