Love these shoes. They are comfortable right out of the box and look way better in person...and they are magic for your legs. I love them with cute socks and rolled jeans too. Very cute and they look great with all of my summer clothes. I never wear heels and these are just great. I am a full on Frye addict at this point. And Zappos is the best!

Beautiful sandal and worth the price. Wore them for about 30 minutes and had trouble walking. I wear a size 7. Cannot return because they have marks on bottom. Just bought another pair in gray and a 6.5 Fit much better! Love them.

Yes, there is a strong, garlic-y smell at first. I've been airing my pair out (I got the slate color) for a couple of hours, and it is subsiding. Thank goodness, because these shoes are gorgeous and comfortable. I usually stick to flip-flops and sandals with little or no heel, but could not resist these. There is soft leather lining on the inside of the straps. They will probably rub the top of my toes a bit at first, but I think they will break in quickly. I usually wear a 10, and these fit perfectly. A unique color in a well-crafted sandal.

I purchased the red and didn't notice the bad smell mentioned in previous reviews. Love this shoe! I am new to platforms and really like the lift these give me without the steep pitch of other heels. Very nicely detailed, well-padded footbed and will look cute with dresses, jeans and shorts. Love frye and really love zappos!

I've been trying to justify buying these shoes for weeks and I finally couldn't hold off any longer! I bought the natural color since I figured it would be the most versatile (wish it came in black)! I take a 9-9.5, and they were out of 9s at the time so I got the 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I am strictly a flip-flops or low sandal girl so I was worried about spending so much on something with such a higher heel than I'm used to, but they're surprisingly comfortable. I did twist my ankle a few times walking around the house, but that's just because I'm out of practice! My only complaint is the smell, which is mentioned in the other reviews. It's a really rancid stench! I have other Frye products and have never noticed this before so I have no idea what's up. It's not bad enough for me to send them back, but I really hope it fades!

I usually wear a size 7 but a 6.5 was a better fit for me at the arch in my foot. The smell? I didn't have that in the 3 pair of shoes I ordered, not at all! So I was glad for that.

This shoe is so adorable and comfortable; however, the smell everyone mentions is very strong and present. I am going to try cleaning it with leather cleaner and airing it outside...just because I don't want to send these back! They are too cute!

I was worried about spending this much on a pair of wedges - but after searching high and low, I realized these were exactly what I wanted. I'm usually a 7 1/2 or 8, and the 7 1/2 fits perfectly. The shoes do smell a little because of the vegetable oil, but airing them out may help. I'm a little disappointed that they're made in China, and not the USA like most Frye products. They're absolutely beautiful, and I love that they look like they can be dressed down or up, so a very versatile shoe. Highly recommend.

Super cute and well made but it had too narrow of a bottom for me, I was worried I would twist my ankle. I love Frye shoes but these I found difficult to walk in...bummer, had to go back. I did not note any smell at all.

Great fast delivery. Shoes very nice and of high quality. I didn't find the odor objectionable, though there certainly is a leathery smell. Shoes on small side and far too narrow for me. And I never considered myself to have fat feet.

I loved how they look in the photo and when I look in the mirror, wearing them, they are truly charming. But that comment reflects only a static pose. When I walk it is a totally different story; I clomp-clomp-clomp like a working pony. There is no give in the sole; the heel area of the wedge is narrow and offers little support so if your ankles are not strong or if you are worried about twisted or sprained ankles, give this style a pass. I am returning the pair I bought for something a little bit more substantial but less cute. Thank you, Zappos, for offering me this exchange opportunity.

These shoes look cute and fit great, but the smell when you open the box is disgusting. Kept them out of the box overnight but it didnt help with the smell. It must be the dye used on the leather.

I just received these sandals today and I purchased them in natural. They are gorgeous, classy & cool. They have it all going on. I tried them on with casual and dressy outfits and they look phenomenal with them all. They are extremely versatile. I wasn't sure about the platforms and how comfortable they would be to walk in, but no problems with that either. These are going to be my sandals for the Summer. I went ahead and purchased the Cognac color as well. I am thrilled with them, and they are worth the price definitely!

A comfortable basic for most any of my casual summer outfits. And I've already received tons of compliments. I was concerned about the wooden platform but its very walkable and the cushion is just right. Love the angle heel, can wear for extended period.

These shoes are true to size and feel good and are quality built but the narrowness of the sole does not make them as stable as most wedges that Frye as made. Easy to sprain an ankle if you are not careful...because of this I don't wear them as much as I thought I would. When I do, I always get a compliment.

Love these! I wear a 9 usually, though sometimes an 8.5 will do, especially in sandals. Tried these on in person and actually sized down to an 8, which fit fine! I also know that like my other Frye sandals, they'll stretch out a bit. Whenever I buy a 9, by the end of the summer, I wish I had started with an 8.5. I think they're lovely, a nice compromise between a flat and a higher wedge. Super versatile, beautiful details!
