I can't say enough about this shoe. I am walking again! My fast paced mall walk has returned, thanks to the Progrid Integrity ST 2. I just finished five months of physical therapy for having anterior and posterior tarsal tunnel surgery, plantar fascia release, heel spur removed, and 1st metatarsal spur removed. Have had metatarsal stress fractures in the past, so deal with arthritic changes. I wore this shoe right out of the box. And to the grocery store, the mall, and did two 30 minute walks that day. When I get up from sitting, I can walk without pain. I have c-shaped feet, E to EE width, high arches and high instep, with a narrow heel. I underpronate so much I easily sprain my ankles.Wore them with my thin orthotics. No blisters. I can lace them. Plenty of room. Finding shoes for underpronaters is difficult. Even with my orthotics, they don't allow me to roll out or in excessively. And it lifts my heel enough to keep weight off of my heels. Insert has added foam on underside, so no need to add heel inserts, etc. for heel pain. My search is over. Get this shoe and enjoy life again. Previously wore New Balance 1064, 1123, and 1225, with orthotics and store bought/home made heel inserts. Love these!

I was looking for an all-purpose walking/running shoe and this model is made of beautiful leather, well-constructed, lightweight and flexible... but I was only able to wear it for 1-1/2 hrs. around the house before the bottoms of my feet were SCREAMING, "get me outta here!!" Too bad cuz they were cute and have a nice silhouette, making the foot look compact and sporty. I guess it was a padding issue...? But I have no room for inserts cuz my feet are just too wide, plus I have a tiny bunionette (a bunion at base of pinkie toe) which is very sensitive. A note on size... I had ordered 6 pairs of double wide (EE) sneakers from Zappo's to try to find one that would simply fit and be comfortable - 3 styles and 2 manufacturers (Saucony and New Balance), in 2 sizes (7 & 7-1/2 - but NONE worked. (I do own an old pair of New Balance hikers in sz. 7E that fit fine, and have a pair of Fila walking shoes that are heavenly-comfy.) I normally buy a 7-1/2 regular in shoes (an 8 regular in boots) in stores - which almost always hurt cuz they are too narrow - but this Saucony Progrid was a 7EE which despite the width felt narrow, AND it was too long, even though it was a half size SMALLER than I normally buy... plus as I mentioned, it weirdly hurt the entire bottom surface of my feet, unlike any shoes I've ever tried before. I ordered the 7-1/2EE in this style as well and needless to say, it was way, WAY too long, so it's going back too. Prior to this, I had ordered about 10 pairs of assorted low-heel shoes in the single E width, sz. 7 and 7-1/2, but none of those fit either; they all felt like regular width shoes to me. I'm pretty discouraged about shoes at this point and not sure what I'm gonna do now... why don't the wide sizes fit?? Is anybody else out there having this problem? Maybe I need to see a podiatrist and investigate orthotics? I hope I won't have to make my own shoes - geez! I'm tempted to just move to the beach at this point, where I can go barefoot most of the time, or wear rubbery flip-flops, as apparently the less shoe around my foot the better!! I hope this helps someone. :-)

If you have fibromyalgia, bad knees, or back problems, Saucony shoes are a difference maker. These shoes, in particular, are wonderful for aches and pains in your body. I absolutely love these shoes and I just ordered another pair.

These shoes are instantly comfortable. The width is great for narrower feet and the heel box is low enough that this doesn't rub on my ankle bones. I like the amount of arch support it provides for my foot. The tongue is nice and soft so no rubbing there! I'll be buying another pair.

This leather Saucony ProGrid Integrity ST2 is the best neutral walking shoe for an underpronator with high arches who tends to walk on the outside of the foot. It is deep enough to accommodate custom orthotics. I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia, plus extremely high arches and a very high instep. Although my foot technically measures as a medium width in women's shoes, I often have to wear a wide (D width) because I literally cannot fit my orthotics plus my foot with its high step into a regular width shoe. This shoe runs a little more narrow than the Brooks Addiction Walker, and it is much more neutral than the Brooks Addiction Walker. Width: In my opinion, the "D" width of this Saucony walking shoe is really like a "C" width, right in between regular and wide, which is perfect for me. However, no 2 pairs of this shoe are sized exactly alike! I tried ordering a second pair of the exact same shoe, but it just doesn't fit the same! One pair fits me just right in size 9D, but the second pair is too wide in the heel and a little longer in the toe even though it's the same size...9D! I'm working with a podiatrist and a physical therapist. Recently, my physical therapist told me to wear only this Saucony shoe with my orthotics, because it is the only shoe which is neutral enough to allow me to stop walking on the outside of my feet. (It's the only shoe which doesn't make my underpronation worse.) If you are an overpronator, you have the opposite problem, and this shoe may not be the best shoe for an overpronator. If you are an overpronator, try the Brooks Addiction Walker. I also have a tailor's bunionette on one foot, and the leather of this Saucony shoe has just enough stretch to it so that it doesn't bother my tailor's bunionette too much. I'm able to wear this Saucony shoe in a women's size 9D, but my foot in reality measures as a women's size 8.5 B. This Saucony shoe accommodates a high instep like mine...however, in my case, I still have to tie the shoe on loosely, and skip some of the holes when I lace up, because my high instep is sensitive on top of my foot and cannot take any tight laces.

I don't know when I lost my feet, but it happens. One minute I'm wearing cute, colorful sneaks, the next, gone. At 48 years old, my feet simply wouldn't put up with whatever I threw at them. Prior to these Saucony Progrid Integrity ST 2 Walker sneakers, I had problems with PF and no matter what insert or sneaker I tried, I'd be limping by lunch. Awful pain. I bought, special inserts, compression socks, a hard foot sleeve to sleep in and countless other widths and size of various shoes. Nothing worked. Saucony Progrid Integrity ST 2, while not pretty, simply work. I didn't change out the insert or anything. Just put them on out of the box and just like that, my feet thanked me. Now - #Saucony, if you're listening: fix these god awful plain beige, white and black color choices. We want fun, pretty colors and designs. Bad feet does not equal bad style. You can (and should) do better.

Add me to the "delighted" column! I have narrow heels, wide fronts, very high arches (that want to fall), so I live in Saucony running shoes. These are a great walking shoe for me - especially for winter as it is so much warmer than the running shoes that I have had as they are all mesh and my feet freeze in cold weather. I have walked and stood all day in these and my feet are much less achy. (some other Saucony "walking shoes" that I have tried have felt too "uncushioned" and made my feet tired very fast.) They add a nice bounce to my step, and they hold my feet even over uneven walking surfaces. There is not much arch support so I will probably add an orthotic, but even without, my arches were not tired after a long day. The insole provided has especially nice cushioning. I got the black to hide under jeans for everyday wear. They are kind of geeky looking but I did not want bright white.

These shoes have helped my feet a lot. I have high arches with a bone spur/plantar fasciitis and sometimes I wear these shoes around the house just to help with the pain. On my walks, these shoes have helped reduce any pain I might have in my feet. I do wish they had a mesh top but perhaps another style does.

I needed wide wide width because of bunions. They are wide enough not to cause pain but do not slide up and down on your feet.

I have never bought shoes over the internet before, but finding size 10.5 EE on the shelf is no easy task. My mother had directed me to try and find a pair on Zappos. I wanted multi-purpose shoes that could be for walking, running, and were half way decent on style. I also did not want a pair of shoes that were all mesh, since I often walk on wet grass at school I didn't want wear wet shoes to a full day. Well, considering the kind of shoes I wanted, my choices were rather limited as you might guess. These shoes, however, fit what I wanted pretty well. The size is nice and roomy; I even have room for my wide spread toes! One thing with the size, however, is that upon reading other reviews I thought when people said good arch support they meant they're good for people with high archers, which is something I have. I needed to get a different insole for them, which is actually something I might suggest to anybody who's thinking about these shoes. The insole that they come with is nothing but a thin flat piece of foam. One other thing that may or may not be significant is that I first got these shoes in a size 10 EE so they were a little too small, but this might have been my fault considering I wasn't sure if I needed to get a pair of shoes that were exactly my measured size or a half size bigger. However, this just gave me experience with Zappos returns, which I'm happy to say went splendidly! I now have my second pair, which I had for more than a month now and am very happy with them! They are light and are good for walking and running. I even got a compliment on how nice they look!

Great shoe for those needing excellent support due to foot problems. Great shoes for my morton's neuroma and plantar fasciitis. Nice wide toe box, high arch support and great forefoot & heel support. Support system is soft feeling, not hard and uncomfortable. Heel is still plenty narrow for those needing narrow heel and wide toe box. Use them for walking and working out, even step class.

This is a great shoe! Had surgery on my Achilles tendon/heel 9 months ago and have struggled finding a shoe that works for me until I found this shoe. The leather is so soft and comfortable with great support. I had to get orthotics a few weeks ago to aid in my recovery and they fit perfectly in this shoe. They require little break-in time. I did find them to be a half size smaller than other shoes, ordering a 10.5 instead of my normal 10. While I can't say these are a terribly attractive shoe, when you've walked in pain for 3 years and then had surgery with more pain, looks really aren't a top priority for me. I can finally walk again comfortably with this shoe and that is a blessing! Thanks, too, to Zappos for their patience with me as I searched/ordered/returned so many shoes before finding this great shoe! Great shoe-- great company!

I usually order men's shoes with wide width in order to get shoes that fit. These were a pleasant surprise. They are wide enough and fit well, with my shoe inserts. (I take out the arch supports that come in the shoes and replace them with inserts.) They don't have the extra stuff that makes the shoe bigger than it needs to be, and I like that, too. They're comfortable, have good support, wide does mean wide, and there's good sizing. I would buy them again.
