Loved this shoe, but the toe box is very low (don't know how to explain it) but the tops of my toes and foot felt squashed down. Incredible support built in--really wish it had fit.

I'm so hard to please, and I'm so thrilled with these shoes. They have lots of toe room, hold my narrower heel, and support my foot beautifully. The arches of my feet are further back, toward my heels, which doesn't always feel good in "supportive" shoes. These work great for me, and will be wonderful walking shoes. Another A+ from Ecco. Great quality.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable. It was raining in Chicago the first time I wore them and I was glad not to be wearing my canvas sneakers. I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 but in Ecco I wear an 8 and it fits perfectly.

Finally after 3 pairs of shoes I had to send back, I received an e-mail that this shoe, in my size was back in stock. I love, these shoes!! I have an issue with the joint on my big toe and these are really comfortable all over. The arch support is better than any other shoe I have in this style. I usually don't spend this much on shoes but these were worth the wait.

These are unique and comfortable walking shoes with pretty good arch support. The removable insole seems to be leather with foam underneath, and after replacing the insoles with my own ¾" thick, ¾ length prescription insoles, the shoes still did not feel too tight. The shoes have a retro styling, and the glossy exterior may even make them work appropriate if you work in a semi-casual environment. In the end I decided to return them because the look just was not my style, but they were very comfortable and seemed to be high quality. One additional thing to note is that the shoelaces are oddly short.

After searching for months to find a shoe with an actual "arch support" I finally found this. The others seem to say they support the foot but I found they don't. I am narrow and a medium is quite narrow so it works for me!

Fits well, like the cushioned ridge at the top of the heel back. Good way to go casual with jeans without looking like an 80's mom in her running shoes. Laces are a little short....could have use two more inches per side, or four total. Last pair of "bowling style" sneaks I had from Ecco lasted 4 years.

This shoe was comfortable out of the box. It has some arch support. I have high arches; usually wear orthotics, but I'm not in these and still comfortable. I think this style could be considered funky or traditional.

Good for my narrow feet. Very comfortable for walking on paved mountain roads right out of the box, on vacation. Nice change from tennis shoes!

I love this shoe because it accommodates my custom orthotics. It was recommended that I cut the insole that comes with the shoes in half so that the orthotic overlaps it (on top of the insole) and there is cushion for the front of your foot. The shoe does accommodate the orthotic but I would say that it isn't as table as I would like and the heel tends to rock a bit when walking. I did wear this shoe all over Rome and it looks great. I got it in the Lion color which is a little light but polishes up well with Meltonian No. 72 Cognac boot and shoe cream. Take the white laces out if you don't want them colored by the polish. I'm buying my second pair. So glad this shoe is in stock again. I was really heart broken when it went away.

Recently went on an 18 day business trip to China & Europe and needed to find some business casual shoes. After trying many pairs of shoes (thanks Zappos for your understanding!). I received the Ecco Chase tie a few days before my trip. I was nervous since I had little break in period but they didn't need any. Unrelated to the shoes, I ended up with some severe leg and foot swelling mid-way through the trip and these shoes were incredible! I have bunions and nerve damage in my left foot and these shoes never pinched or gave me blisters. I would rather wear these than my Brooks sneakers. I bought the blue and plan on buying the tan.

This is a fashionable and beautiful sneaker. It is also very comfortable. I bought a pair in blue for a trip to Europe and they were so comfortable that I wore them everyday during the trip. The Blue matches very well with jeans so they are easy to wear with any color top. Its difficult for me to find such comfortable shoe so when I return I purchase the saddle color and its just as beautiful as the blue.

Love these shoes! They are so comfortable right out of the box, like walking on foam padding. I've been wanting a cool red shoe to replace a pair of red leather Simple's I've had for years. These are perfect. With summer still not really here yet, I can wear these now!

Bought these shoes for a trip to Pisa, Italy where we rented an apartment for 4 days just a few weeks ago. Brought them over brand new, without breaking them in at home first...and held my breath. They were fantastic for the 4 days of heavy pounding they got. Continued to wear them afterward in every small hill town on Tuscany. Really amazing how comfortable they are, especially as I have a modest sized bunion (ugh) on my right foot. These are must-have shoes for stone pavements. Looked okay, too, with a casual khaki skirt.
