So it takes a certain amount of guts to order a pair of boots online. However, I have purchased Ariat boots before and knew my size, so I took the plunge. As with all Zappos orders the process was easy and they showed up sooner than I imagined. The boots look cool, break-in was not too bad and they fit well. All and all I am happy with the purchase.

Ordered these for my husband, and he loves them! They are a bit wide around his calf, but not bothersome. He is always in between a 12 1/2 and a 13, but in these the 13 fits best. However, I know Ariat is often a larger fit...so go figure! He says they are extremely comfortable, and they go with everything. Manly enough for my Marine, but can be dressed up for church or date nights. Love the distressed look and the squared toe! Absolutely nothing to complain about with these boots. He had never had any style of cowboy boots, so it took him a couple days to get used to the heel slipping a bit, but that is a good fit in a boot!

These boots were purchased for me by my girlfriend. The boots are very comfortable. I recently wore them in Las Vegas, and my feet felt great!

Very comfortable and stylish. I'm not a cowboy, but wanted something that was not an athletic shoe and casual. I usually wear 12 in most tennis shoes but like most boots went with a size smaller and fits prefect. Love them. My second pair of Ariats this year, also have a pair of the brown ones, that I got locally and paid a heck of a lot more!

These boots are comfortable enough to wear all day without even thinking about them. They were initially tight over the tops of my feet, but loosened up to a nice snug fit, with the heels being slightly loose but not rubbing at all. Also, the shafts are actually a decent width to account for my shins. The boot has some nice subtle stitching, and the leather is not shiny at all. If I have one complaint, though, it's that the sole extends out a good quarter inch past the toe and is really square. I'm still not sure if I like this look, but I do like the comfort.

These boots are very attractive. The cushioned bottom is comfortable to walk on. I read other reviews which all said to buy a full size smaller so I took a chance and order 1\/2 size small and they are very tight in width around the toes. Overall a good casual country looking boot.

The boots do have a smoother finish then the picture shows. I wear a 10.5 in normal shoes but went with the advise of getting a size smaller. Glad I did, they were a little snug but broke in very quickly and fit perfectly now. I have 4 pair of boots I wear regularly, and these are the most comfortable pair.

These boots are great. Ive been pretty much living in boots of one sort or another, from industrial steel-toe work boots to Doc Martens, for nearly twenty years, but this was my first time with western boots. After doing some research online, I overcame my apprehensions about trying something so different, and man am I glad I did! Immediately upon taking them out of the box, I could feel a satisfyingly substantial heft to the boots, as well as see clearly quality construction and materials. There was no breaking period for me; within an hour of wear they felt as natural and comfortable as a favorite old pair of jeans. I did follow another reviewers advice and went out the next day and spent money on a simple tin of saddle soap, which the leather really drank up. They came out of the box looking almost dried up and in need of a little love; now they have a nice healthy luster while still retaining the cool, slightly beat up, weathered look. It is true what other reviewers say; the sizing is a little different. Try a size smaller than usual, and consider the EE width if you have a wider foot at all, as these do run a little narrow. All things considered, I really could not recommend these boots more. Good looking, super comfortable; whats not to like? Only time will tell, but if they just hold up as well as they look and feel, I may have found my new favorite brand of boots. Take a chance on something new here; you wont regret it!

I bought these for my husband to wear riding his motorcycle. He said they were the most comfortable boot he has ever worn. This is the first pair of Ariat's either of us has bought and I was a little worried about the quality versus the price paid. When he received them you could tell that the quality was well worth the money. They look great with all of his riding gear. I do think they run a little big since he always wears a 14 and the 13 in these fit great.

These boots are great and very comfortable. Only problem is they run small. My husband wears a size 8 wide in other Ariat's but he needed a 9. They run small.

I bought these boots predominantly for riding my bike since I do not like motorbike specific boots. I wanted something casual that I could wear off my bike without looking like a knob. Anyway, the boots are great, very comfortable straight out of the box, lovely soft leather, great fit. The one issue is that they are not in the least waterproof. Not at all! I rode through a bit of rain and it came straight through the boots. I guess perhaps through the stitched detail on the top. When I stopped I literally poured the water out of each boot. And of course it had made the cardboard under the removable sole quiet soggy. If you are not likely to wear them on a bike in the rain, go for it!
