I am a nurse in the OR. I have been searching for a shoe with amazing arch support. I have super high arches and stand on my feet most of the day. I bought these online to try and fell in love with them immediately after putting them on! It was like this shoe was made just for my feet. I have tried so many shoes in the last few months and nothing comes close to these. They are so comfortable. I am in love. I hate Dansko's and all the other similar types of typical "nursing" shoes. Many nurses also recommend tennis shoes but I have never found a pair that didn't make my feet ache by the end of the day. I would highly recommend Chaco's to anyone with high arches. The support is perfect and the style is awesome. Way better than an of those ugly white shoes! Thanks, Chaco and Zappos!

I'm a huge Chaco fan, and love shopping Zappos to get them. This shoe has all the Chaco quality features for support and comfort, plus closed-toe styling for cold wx. But the shoe was much larger than the same size Chaco sandal I wear every day.

These are now my favorite shoes. The sole cradles my foot so well, it seems to help my posture and really makes standing for long periods easy. My back is so happy! My toes are loving the wiggle room and I love that these Pedsheds are oiled and waterproof. There's no reason not to make these my everyday work shoes. They look very un-clunky with pants. A great shoe!

I LOVE these shoes. They are so comfortable. They take a few days to get used to the high arch but they feel like you are not wearing shoes when they are broken-in. I only recommend them to people who have high arches.

Love the shoe, very disappointed in the size. I wear between 8 1/2 and 9. I ordered the 8 1/2 med and they were way too big. The hard part is getting to the post office here in Afghanistan to return things. I need good support shoes and having a hard time finding something to wear here.

Love, love, love this shoe! I have worn Chaco sandals for a few years and was so happy to see that they have shoes for cooler weather. I purchased these just before a trip overseas and they were the only shoes I took with me and walked, walked and walked some more and they were great! I must say they felt a little funny when I first put them on out of the box but after wearing them for about 15 minutes or so they were comfortable. If you are someone who has a high arch these are the shoes for you! I hope Chaco continues to create more shoes for cooler weather, like how about some some boots. :-)

Same great arch support as I get from my Chacos! Great shoes but don't expect to wear thick socks with them as they are too narrow for that!

After returning three pairs of Dr. Martens and having my Dansko clogs rub holes in both of my feet from the terrible inside finish (or lack thereof), I was thrilled to see Chaco offer a closed shoe. I was a bit leery after reading reviews, but I love the sandals, so I decided to order a pair of PedShed shoes. I absolutely love them. I thought I would need some break-in time, But the leather upper is soft and they were amazing straight out of the box. The day after receiving them, I wore them to work, and the next day wore them holiday shopping and my feet felt great. They do have a bit of a negative heel, which makes them more comfortable for those of us with the occasional plantar fasciitis issues, and they are low enough that I was able to wear them with an ankle brace. They do feel a bit big, but not half a size (I wear an 8 sandal, and ordered 8½ in the PedShed), so they are roomy enough for socks. They seem to not breathe ery well, but it has not been an issue. The strap lets you adjust the shoe to fit custom, just like the sandals. I absolutley love these shoes!

I've owned Chaco sandals and these fit exactly the same as the sandals. I love the support they give - I don't have to wear my orthotics if I'm in my Chacos. I bought the grey PedSheds and they have a sueded top. They look great with jeans.

I love Chacos. The best arch support besides Danskos. These did seem a bit narrow on one side and gave blisters. Plus another drawback is the back seems to squish down when you put them on. It's a good shoe other than that. Slips on ice.

I LOVE the way these shoes look, but I normally wear running shoes to work and these are not quite as comfy. It's worth the tradeoff, because they do look good. The strapping system is cool, as with all Chaco's, a great fit is guaranteed.

This style is not as comfy as the sandals, which I have 5 pairs of, but that's due to the bone structure of my feet. Extra thick socks pad the areas where bones rub the leather and it makes it tolerable, which meant I needed a 1/2 size larger. I put up with the rubbing because the arch support of Chaco's is the best! Hope they come out with some more styles for winter wear that are semi dressy/casual.

I had high hopes for this shoe and was disappointed. I love my Chaco sandals and was very excited to see an option for cooler weather wear. The footbed of this shoe is great; however the leather is stiff and the straps do not adjust like the sandals. I had hoped to be able to snug up the heel, but that strap is just for looks. The strap across the top of foot does adjust, but with my narrow foot, it bunched the shoe up and made it uncomfortable. Am going with a Birkenstock clog instead.

I really wanted to love these. I wear a wide in the sandals and thought a half size larger would compensate. Not so. When the width isn\'t right the arch is uncomfortable. I purchased these for work so socks are a requisite. I\'ve tried every type of sock and all seem to ease and creep into these shoes. They look good, construction is good. The leather inside is finished, a nice detail that makes no socks nice. Where the elastic is sewn into the leather it makes sharp edges that rub. Chacos doesn\'t make these in a wide yet, when they do I\'ll try again. Until then I\'m enduring the above in hopes of falling in love. Zappos rocks!

These would be great shoes for me except that there is an elastic piece where the heel and upper meet and the stitching rubs and I'm sure would be uncomfortable if worn for a period of time.

There aren't any decent shoe stores where I live in Western Massachusetts or I would never have tried Zappos. I am thrilled with the Zappos experience. The first pair of PedSheds (8.5) were too large and I returned them for size 8s. The second pair fit perfectly and I'm really picky about my shoes. Due to my poor arches and dicey ankles, I only wear sneakers. Thanks to buyers' reviews of these shoes, I chose the PedShed over other Chacos and other brands. I have quite pleased with these shoes and very happy with Zappos free shipping policy.

This shoe arrived overnight! I have plantar fasciitis and have had foot pain for several months. I put on the shoes when they arrived and first thing this morning. My feet haven't felt this good in months. I also have several pair of chaco sandals. Be sure you adjust the straps for comfort.

I needed new dress shoes because my Danskos were causing knee/hip pain. I love my Chaco sandals and decided to try the PedShed. The fit is a little odd because my foot is not at the back of the shoe in order to have the support in the right place, but tightening the strap keeps them perfectly in place. The support is very similar to ZX/2 Yampa Wide. The shoe is extremely comfortable and no more pain! Plus now I get to sport my Chacos at work!

These shoes are very well made. My feet never hurt when I wear them,and I now own two pair. My husband and son bought them from the mans line and couldn't agree more on how great your feet feel all day. Love, love, love them! I am the proud owner of 5 pair of Chacos!

This shoe did not fit my foot right and squeaked on the right shoe badly. The heel seemed extra large also. I only hope Zappos doesn't get tired of my trying to find the right shoe. Love Chaco sandals and will order more of them.

I really like these shoes. The first pair I bought too large, since I used the size chart and measured. Later I found the Zappos size chart is inconsistent with the Chaco website size chart. Recommend you not try to measure your foot and just use the conversion. The 9 was true to size, although it still felt a tad large. I stuck with them, as I think they are intended to have ample space along with the strap. I have plantar fasciitis, and the arches feel good, although they are very different from the Dansko's. I haven't yet decided which I like best.
