Two of my friends have these boots and saw them one day at school and fell in love! They have the women's one just because they are taller. I am am 5' and normally wear a 6 in other shoes. I finally ordered the black gloss youth boots and they are so cute! I also bought a pair of light blue wellies to go with these. They are a bit snug with the wellies on but I can still tuck in my skinny jeans. They are about 1" away from hitting my knee. But they are so worth the money. I am so glad my feet are small. The only thing I do not really like are the reflectors on the back. But I can deal with them! These are worth it! Thanks, Zappos!

I absolutely love these boots, thank god for being blessed with small feet! I wear a 7 in woman's and was able to order a 5 in kids that fit perfectly! These boots are extremely comfortable and trendy, I would definitely recommend them. :)

While they fit my size seven feet and skinny calves perfectly, I didn't take note of the "reflective safety patches." They're awkwardly placed, not removable, and not at all cute. I'm sending these pack and throwing down on the adult size.

I am a short adult female, a little over 5 feet tall so I often or always have trouble finding boots that fit. These are a youth size 4 (I usually wear an adult size 5) and they are perfect. They come up to just below my knee and there is plenty of room for a light or heavy sock. I love the shiny black which is not too shiny but gives the boot a little dash. Highly recommend for shorter women or those who do not want a high boot. The price is great also.

I'm 5'2” and I wear a women's size 7, with somewhat wide feet. I got a child's size 6. It's a perfect height and size, with enough room for a thick sock. Great boot; can't wait for this winter rain. If you are short and smaller, get the kids sizes, they will be perfect. Also, Hunter boots are very comfy.

I normally wear a 5 or 6 in women's shoes so this boot was cheaper and flatters my small legs better than the original tall Hunters. I ordered a 4, and they fit cozy with the Hunter wellie socks! Another great purchase from Zappos!

Zappos is great. They upgraded the shipping for free so I got my boots in two days for free. My normal size is adult 5 and this fits me with room. Zappos offers free shipping back so you can order two sizes and send one back. These boots are very easy to scuff though. I'm not sure if non-gloss ones would be better.

So cute! And a nice pop of color on a rainy day. I'm usually a size 5 but I ordered these in a size 4 and 3. Both fit and though the 3s were a little snug, I kept them because the height of the shaft is shorter and made my legs look longer.

I'm 5' tall and purchased the black glossy youth Hunters size 4 and they're great! I originally bought the glossy red but they looked hot pink and had to return them. But other than the two gray reflectors in the back of the boots designed for kids, I love these boots, especially because live in the NW where it rain, a lot!

I love these boots! Comfortable, stylish, and well made. Run a bit large so order carefully. I wear a ladies size 6 and ordered a youth size 5. Plenty of room for a heavy sock but feels loose with a lighter pair.

After reading many reviews, I was very pleased to purchase the youth size 5 boots. I am 5'3" and the youth boots hit about 2-3 inches below the knee. The adult sizes were to high for me. I regularly wear a 6 1/2 or 7 in woman's shoes. I tried both the Youth 4 and 5 at a store and found that the youth 4 fits fine without the wellie sock, and the size 5 fits better with the wellies and my own socks. I am able to tuck my pants into the boots with the size 5s. I was happy to purchase them from Zappos, in the black gloss color and on sale!

I highly recommend buying these if you are on the short side. I had heard that the women's boots would hit your knee so I avoided buying them. These do not hit my knee and look great with anything. I love these boots.

I just got my black Hunter boots in the mail a day after I ordered them. Thanks Zappos. They are so cute! I got the glossy ones because I thought I could avoid the blooming effect with them but I was wrong. When I got them in the mail they were a little smudged already so I took a washcloth and cleaned them with all-purpose cleaner. It worked but you have to scrub really hard and it takes a long time. I'm usually a size 5 in kids but they were out of stock so I took the last 6 and I'm glad I did. They're roomy but still comfortable and I never want to grow out of them. Love 'em!

My 8.5 year old loves these boots. She wears them nearly every day, whether there is rain or not. We ordered the glossy but got the flat black. Since it was a Christmas gift. I didn't send them back as I didn't have time.
