Although these shoes required the heel be broken in a little, they were otherwise immediately comfortable. I will say the brown color is off just enough that it's hard to actually wear them as a brown shoe. They're also a little on the wide side for a D.

I'm loving these shoes. They're my second pair of Borns, the first being the Born Davey's, which I wore for at least a year almost every day. Very comfortable to walk in, and I love to walk. The fit was perfect. I get lots of compliments on the cool look.

I really am pleased with the Born Bolt. Born has a history of good design and functionality and they delivered again here. Very comfortable for walking long periods and stylish too. Zappos VIP takes all the risk out of the online buying process as well!

These fit like they're custom made for me. Comfortable, stylish, and they match most of my outfits combinations. The insole doesn't provide a ton of cushioning, but they easily accommodated inserts without feeling tight.

This is a very comfortable pair of shoes. I first bought this pair in another color and then found it so comfortable that I ended up owning it in all three available colors. Lightweight, very soft inners. I like the style and have had a lot of positive comments at work and elsewhere.

If you are at all thinking of ordering this shoe, do it. It is extremely comfortable. The construction of the shoe is excellent, it feels well made. The color seems a bit lighter than in the picture and the worn marks on the heel and toe a bit darker. Nothing really too major but overall extremely satisfied with the shoe.

Fun, slightly retro looking shoe. Excellent quality, comfortable, and you can go casual, or very casual, with this shoe. I have the same shoe in black and both are superb performers and my go to shoes. The sole and heel construction make this an agile shoe, but with a solid footing.

The comfort and leather with these shoes have worn well. As I would expect from a good leather-based shoe, it gets better with age. The only downside has been that the soles wear out faster than the uppers (typical in most shoes I find). I put about 6 months into these shoes (still wearing them despite the slick soles) and the soles are spent.

Overall this is an excellent pair of shoes. The arch support is excellent and the fit is great. The colors are unusual and appealing;unfortunately, the grey and blue colors change to a much darker color when I applied a quality clear, neutral leather cream. How horribly disappointing! A big shout out to Zappos for their predictable and professional service.

For some reason these cause my hips to ache, almost like I need a hip replacement. Take them off there is no pain. With other shoes there is no pain. I think it may be due to the arch support or heel section.

I bought two pairs of Born shoes, the black ones with the baseball stitching and then these ones, after my wife bought a pair of Born boots she loves. Style-wise the shoes look great -- some other commenter mentioned how well they go with a pair of blue jeans. But there is a problem...after no more than a year of only light use which I define as once every week or two, the stitch on the edge of the shoe closest to the ankle opened up and continues to get bigger. The inside heel of the shoe has ripped as well. A shoe this expensive should not be falling apart. I would not recommend this shoe.
