Full disclosure. I am not a mother of a newborn, but a mature woman who carries her entire life with her. Thus, I needed a bag that would accomplish that. The reason I opted for a diaper bag is that such a container would have pockets for a bottle (water, not formula), an outside flap (paperback, not diapers), and other pockets for my daily necessities. The reason I selected this particular bag is that while it served my schlepping purposes, it lacks bunnies or giraffes and looks spiffy enough to take with for an evening out.

I needed a bigger diaper bag with two kids. I could never fit jackets for both of them and a blanket so I ordered this. It is really big and roomy inside. I could fit a lot of things. However, I was bothered by the openings at the end of the zippers on each side. Things are always falling out of diaper bags because they get thrown around in cars and the house so I wasn't pleased. Also, the bag has basically no structure so when I set it down on the floor after filling it, the bottom sides touched the ground. I ordered the pearl metallic so I know it would have gotten dirty very quickly. I returned this LeSportsac and got the Patagonia lightweight travel tote, which holds just as much, if not more than the LeSportsac, plus it converts to a backpack. The Patagonia bag is also half the price.

This bag is super light which helps when carrying the car seat and all the other baby stuff. The bag is large and roomy which is great, but items can get lost. I would like. More compartments would be nice. I love that there are two outside pockets for beverages which is great. Overall I am very happy with bag. I have had many diaper bags and this one is great!

Baby isn't here yet, so my review won't reflect actual use of the bag. I ordered this baby bag because I have a LeSportsac tote that I love. The baby bag has similar construction - heavy-duty zippers and strong handles and straps (similar to a seat belt) with good stitching. The shoulder strap is detachable. You can't see it in the picture, but the top is open on either end of the zipper. It does not close completely. Personally, I'd rather just have the shoulder strap. I have a feeling the handles are going to get in the way. The bag is very cute in-person. The background is chocolate and the blue dots are sky blue (they almost looked aqua in some of the pictures but they're a true light blue).

I love that this bag isn't to showy and has mellow colors. I was hoping it was a little bigger and that it had more smaller compartments. I don't think that it was worth the price, but it does seem to be put together well. Overall I'm happy with it and i do love. the pattern.

I purchased this bag after seeing it on multiple strollers all over the upper east side of NYC so I figured it had to be worth it. I have yet to use it but the bag itself is light and large with ample pockets and long straps and appears very easy to clean. I got the zoo cute print and its adorable. I would suggest waiting until it goes on sale because it is a little pricey. LeSportsac also sells matching pacifier pouches and travel zip bags online and in their store.

I was looking for a small bag to carry around my breast pump and stumbled upon this LeSportsac diaper bag. It isn't a typical diaper bag in that it doesn't have a million pockets or a divider in the middle of the bag so my pump supplies fit in wonderfully. If you're looking for a simple, large diaper bag and don't mind having just a handful of separate spaces, this bag is awesome. (The pockets that are available are large). It is fairly big as far as diaper bags go and the black color is really neutral in that it doesn't look like a diaper bag at all. When I stop using it as my pump bag, I'll probably use it more frequently as an actual diaper bag because I think my husband will like it better than the Kate Spade diaper bag we use now!

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this bag. I LOVE the pattern - it's cute but also graphic and modern enough that I feel hip carrying it. It does not masquerade as a non-baby bag, what with the animal print, but guess what? If you're carrying a diaper bag you're probably also toting a baby, so your secret is already out. I have a 3 year old and with our new baby coming needed a bigger bag for two kids. The Kate Spade bag we've been using for just one is fine but has more of the traditional baby bag size and shape - kind of thin and laptop shaped - not very wide. Our old bag (and lots of bags) is also rather heavy on its own. The fabric is quite thick - not the Ryan bag, which is super light since it's nylon. The changing pad is nice and matching but a bit small, and would be nice if it rolled up and secured with Velcro like our Kate Spade one, which I might use instead of the Ryan. Also some people complained about not enough pockets, but it's the same as our KS one and for 3 years now that number of pockets has been fine for us. I will probably sew a closure onto the outside back pocket; our KS has the same pocket but with a small Velcro closure at the top. The pocket is really big and great but it seems a little gaping without anything to close it at least a little bit. I also think the stroller straps are weird but who knows, maybe they will be helpful. I was happy to find out that the Zoo Cute bag has plastic clips on the stroller straps, as opposed to the metal ones on the black Ryan we saw at the store, so even if you don't use the straps they aren't these big heavy clunky bangy things like on the black bag. Anyway, love love love! If you need a big bag to shlep things around in for 2 kids, this is it!

Bought this as a gift for a friend after she had a baby and she loves it. All the pockets she needs and doesn't scream baby bag when she brings it to work after doing the daycare drop off.

I love LeSportSac because their designs are cute, the bags washable, and the fabric super-light, so you can just worry about the weight of the contents. This is a super-functional bag that both myself and my husband can carry, and we always get complemented on it.

I bought this for my daughter in law. She wanted a bag that is unisex and she says this fits the bill and that she likes it very much.

I got this bag in Russian bazaar. It is super cute! I love Lesportsac bags because they are very durable and lightweight. This bag is very roomy. I have many baby bags and this is my favorite. I have a three year old and now a two week old so I am always carrying a bunch of crap. I ordered over the phone and was delighted when I was upgraded to VIP status so I was able to get overnight shipping. At the time I was due any day and had told the representative (Erin S.) this was great because I wanted it before the baby came. What is really sweet was about a week later I had flowers delivered and it was from Erin S. and the Zappos.com family congratulating me on the new addition. Great customer service and very generous. Thanks, Erin S., and Zappos.com!

I bought this baby bag for a friend who's theme her babies nursery is "It's a Small World." We've also both been longtime fans of LeSportsac purses so the two paired together was perfect! She loved it! Roomy, lots of pockets and in a material that is easy to wipe clean! What's not to love?

I am a nursing school student and basically live on my school campus. Since I am a little older in school this time around I wanted something nice looking with out any crazy patterns. I carry my iPad, water, bottle, extra books, snacks and anything else I can't fit in my backpack. I also have another one of these tote bags, I have had it for years. Just throw it in the wash & it never fades. Great brand.

This is a great bag! This diaper bag is big enough to carry everything you need for yourself and baby, with room to spare. The strap hangs well on a stroller, although there are stroller straps too. The pockets have ample room for diapers, wipes, and bottles. I gave it four stars instead of five jut because I wish there were two more pockets inside. The fabric and pattern are great too (I have the brown and aqua dots). I love it! I also have a skip hop, and it definitely was not as big or nice.

I was able to find this bag in a local store so I could go test it out in person, so I was able to see many different styles of the Ryan bag. My first choices were the pearl metallic or the shiny black. I quickly saw that those were no good because the metal hardware on the sides are too heavy for how thin the fabric is, and it causes the sides to hang to the floor. The other materials such as the baby graphic styles and the black quilted one I found were a sturdier material, but still very lightweight fabric, and they also have plastic hardware that is a much better fit for the lightweight material. I chose the solid quilted black one, and I brought it home to test it out. I only bought this bag because of the size, but even at first glance I was not happy with the all black interior giving it the black hole effect. Also the changing pad is so thick and large making it too big to fit snugly inside or in any of the pockets, so that was useless in my opinion, I was planning on using another that I have. When I got it home and filled it, I was further disappointed, as others stated this bag has no structure, the worst is the bottom of the bag where everything just collapses to the center. The front appears to have two pockets, but that is just the design it is actually a big zippered compartment, another area to lose all your stuff in the black hole. What makes me so disappointed in this bag is the cost for what a joke it is, really. This bag should be much cheaper. I had such high hopes for this bag given the size and rave reviews, but it did not work. The only positives to this bag in my opinion are the two different ways to hold it, one on the shoulder and the other is messenger style, the size of the bag is very nice, and the lightweight fabric makes it easy to carry. The things that I believe should be changed to make this a great bag would be: Add a structured bottom to it, change the color of the inside to give it contrast, change the zipper on top (it has a flap zipper that leaves excess hanging fabric when unzipped, and it is open on the sides which lets items fall out), convert the huge zippered area on the front to separate pockets for more organization, include a more appropriate sized changing pad that can fit in the back pocket. Also the stroller clips just hang off the sides in the main interior compartment, there is just such a lack of structure/organization in so many areas, compounded by the fact that the fabric itself is so flimsy. I am really shocked to see such high reviews on this bag, especially at this price point. Obviously it was a "No" for me. Good luck hunting.
