I love this kettle! It's great quality and it heats up water very quickly. Easy to use too.

Seems to be well made and looks nice. Unfortunately it is so tall that it will not fit under our faucet! It is almost 2 inches taller than our old kettle with the same water volume. The base does not seem very stable either. Returned and never used.

I love it! Very fast and quiet. Clear glass lets me know how much water is in there without opening the lid!

This kettle is great. Only thing that I would say against it is that it makes lots of noise while the water is heating.

After considerable comparison shopping, I read the user comments here and decided on this glass kettle. Only one minor complaint about the spout design causing some delayed beginning of pouring and handle could be a bit further out for better balance. We use it 2 or 3 times a day. Easy to know how much water is in the kettle, easy to use, easy to clean. Good value.

Loved it the first month, then the lid broke off, seemed the weak link. Most disappointed. Threw away the box so can't return this.

This is a pretty good option. The glass does heat up quickly but cools down quicker than stainless steel. However most of the stainless steel pots had a see-through plastic measuring thing that I wouldn't want boiling into my water. The lid is a slow open so it won't splash, but makes it a little wobbly. Overall it's a pretty good option compared to most tea kettles out there today.

I bought this because I wanted to stop using the plastic one that I had since 2006. The prospect of boiling water in glass was exciting and seemed healthier, despite the fact that I am sure that I have already leached as many chemicals as possible from using the other for so long. I do not notice a weird taste with this kettle. Other glass kettles seem to get that complaint a lot (due to sealants). I will say that the lid assembly is cheap - I seem to recall having issues with it within only a month of having it. Also, when I received it, it definitely looked like it had been used already (box ripped up, taped closed; dried drops on the exterior). I can only hope that someone used it a few times instead of for half a year before returning it. I am considering shipping it to the manufacturer before the year is up because I am afraid the lid will completely break and I will not even be able to jerry-rig it open and closed at all soon. Sometimes it works, sometimes it gets stuck closed, and sometimes it is hard to get it to close. Everything else about it is great. I love the design, it boils quickly, and I do not see any plastic where the water sits and boils (plastic contacts it when pouring). I would recommend this to someone who wants a glass kettle for health and aesthetics, but I would also recommend to be gentle when opening and closing to prolong its useful life!
