I ordered these after a long time of wearing D3 (classic fit) khakis. Since I’m pretty thin, D2 khakis are a better-looking fit for me, and they are no less comfortable! Two things to keep in mind, though. First, they do sit a little lower on the waist, so if you are tall (like me), it’s easy for your shirts to come untucked. Second, it’s probably a good idea to try on the pants in a store because the waist sizes are a little tighter than the D3. I wear a 33 waist D3, but for the D2, a 34 waist fits just fine.

I have been disappointed by recent orders of clothing from Zappos. While Zappos is the distributor of goods manufactured by other companies, there is no excuse for inspecting the garment thoroughly before sending it to the customer. Accordingly, items not checked properly before shipping probably results in a high return rate for goods at Zappos expense and you would think they would value the customer and their own bottom line better by making sure only first rate goods are sent to customers. In particular, my recent order of two pairs of Docker's D2 straight fit flat front khakis had the following results----One pair was fine, looks good, properly made and a good value, the other pair of branch color khakis had the following flaws: The size marked on the goods was what I ordered but they did not fit in the waist and they were miss labeled. The other issue was the belt loops were sewn on crooked and one of the loops had only been sewn 1/2 way across which could easily have come unraveled. These pants were returned to Zappos and instructed not to put them back on the shelf for redistribution (I hope they heeded my suggestion). My advice to each of you is to inspect all goods you order from Zappos thoroughly yourself since this is not being done by Zappos staff and quality control is poor and be sure to return any item that has any flaws regardless of what the cost of the garment is. In this way, Zappos may put some pressure on the manufacturer to do a better job of assembly and inspection and hopefully Zappos staff will attempt to more closely inspect goods from manufacturers whose goods seem to be returned more frequently from customers.

These are nice pants. They look good with a blazer and dress shirt or just a polo. they wash up pretty much wrinkle free.
Brands I'd also recommend: Izod pants are great too

I bought these for my husband. He needed grey pants for work (caterer). They are true to size. The fabric has a sheen to it to make them dressy. Washes up very well!

So far these are great pants. The fabric feels very nice and although the fit was a bit looser than other D2 pants I have it still looks nice. Very easy to take care of. The color is very nice also.

True to size and overall fit. I would like to see size 33X34 available which seems hard to find in all brands. Once again Zappos performs at the top in my book on there outstanding customer service! Keep it up! Regards, Darren.

These pants fit okay. I usually wear 34 in the D3 so I went two up to 36 based on how the D1 fit. The waist was too big so it's best to stick to the waist size for the D3.
Brands I'd also recommend: none

My husband has trouble finding pants in his size. Zappos to the rescue! We should have paid attention to the previous poster who said these straight fit pants are sized the way pants used to be. We didn't return the order (since hubby claims he will lose the weight) but placed another order in the next bigger size. Those fit great! Zappos rocks, by the way.

For my son who has only worn sweat pants for the past three years, these were a great transition into the real world. He still treats them like they were sweat pants, wrestling around in them and using them as a napkin, but despite that, they always wash up beautifully and look like new right out of the dryer!

Bought these for casual days that don't require dress pants. They fit great and look almost as stylish as my DKNYs and Kenneth Coles. Note on sizing: these straight fits are sized the way pants used to be, before all the national brands started "alterna-sizing" to help overweight people feel better about themselves. I easily fit Levi's waist-size 30s, ordered the Docker 31s, and had to exchange for the 32s.

These are great pants for travel, especially if you are going to be far from an iron. And finally, these are pants that are actually made for what is now considered a slim person. Dockers has other versions for the non-slim, but if you don't need the extra material in the seat and thigh area, these are perfect for you.

Slacks (British Khaki) arrived quickly and in fairly good shape...a few wrinkles that were easily ironed out. Fit was great and the quality was good as well. Satisfied with this pair; however, I ordered another color (Stone) from the same web page and the pants were entirely different. Material was less wrinkle resistant and had a different feel. The British Khaki slacks come out of the dryer ready to wear. Not so with the Stone color. They will always need ironing, which is not something I signed up for. Not sure why the discrepancy between 2 pair of pants from the same page. Overall rating is a reflection of this.

Okay fit across the front through the thighs, little wider on the bottom legs than should be. My measurements are waist 30, thighs 20.5, butt 36 I wear a 30 x 30...okay value though.

Great cut and comfortable material. Was available as a 36 inch length. Unfortunately the pants were completely wrinkeled up during delivery so that they had to be ironed before first use.

I do not normally write reviews. In fact, I do not think that I have ever written one on Zappos or Amazon for that matter. But these pants compelled me to write one. Put simply, they are great. I work in a business casual environment and have therefore been experimenting with various khakis for the past half dozen years. I have tried many brands, and was loyal to J Crew for a long time. But I did not love the J Crew pants. They shrank and faded over time, and needed ironing each time I wore them. These Dockers blew me away. First, you never have to iron them. That literally saved me hours every month. Also, they have a permanent crease/soft pleat in the front that keeps them looking sharp. Also, after two months of wearing and washing, they have not faded a bit. Overall, I am a huge fan and recently converted my entire khaki collection to Dockers. I donated all of my J Crew pants to charity.

I bought these for my husband who doesn't have to wear suits every day for work anymore. They still look crisp and professional, but are very comfortable. The khaki color works with any color shirt the hubs grabs, too! Zappos had his difficult to find size -- and the VIP shipping is the best! Almost instant gratification!
