These hikers fit my narrow, flat foot well right away. I have logged numerous miles in them, through mud and over rocks and they still look and feel great. I have not gotten any blisters, black toenails or problems at all (like I have had in other hikers). The waterproofing seems to work well too.

I loved the look andfit of these shoes for an upcoming trip but they were unbearably hot even with smart wool socks.

This shoe is very wide in the heel! I wear an extra narrow but can usually wear a narrow boot with a thick sock. I laced the boots so tight that my feet started to tingle but the heel still slipped when I walked. I was so disappointed!

I have a relatively wide foot. Size 10.5 D or E. At first these shoes were a bit snug, but then they accommodated my feet. Now, this is the best fitting shoe I have ever owned! I wear them all the time for all occasions!

These shoes were great. Put them on and went to Alaska! Very comfortable and my feet did not get wet or cold. Lots of support and did not feel clunky like some hiking shoes.

Nicely made shoe, but squeezes my baby toes - the toe box doesn't seem high enough. My feet are low volume, high-arched, with narrow heels and wide toes, and the baby toes are quite, um, hammered, so they're sensitive to any discontinuities in stitching or other lumps and bumps in a shoe's toe box. I wear a U.S. 6.5-7 in dress shoes, and I ordered 7.5, which also felt a bit short. I tried these on after a hike, so the feet would recognize comfort...or not. They didn't, sadly. Also, the charcoal-gray color is quite dark, darker than the image on my screen, for what it's worth.

Good shoe when I bought it, but sole delaminated, just after a year of VERY LIGHT use. Lowa company declined to repair or replace it even after I sent them in for inspection, and DID admit that the shoes were hardly even used. I'll avoid them from now on.
