These are the first boots I have ever found that fit my huge calves. The leather is good quality and they're very comfortable. Other than a little sagging at the ankle, I am very happy with them!

I got my boots today. They are awesome! I have not worn them anywhere but the house, but I am super excited to wear them. I have a 22 inch and they fit! If you need large calf boots try these! I'm thinking about going ahead and ordering the brown ones, too.

I wear these boots all the time. My calf is large and I can easily tuck my jeans in. Very easy to wear for long periods of time and for doing a lot of walking.

These are nice boots. Soft and comfortable and they fit my extra wide calves (18 ). If you want to wear thicker socks with them, get a half size bigger.

I love my new boots -- they are the most comfortable dress boots I've ever owned! For someone whose healthy calves have kept me in lace-up boots up to now if I wanted some to reach my knees, these are a delight!

These are great boots! I have always had a herd tome finding boots that fit, but these are perfect. My calf measures 17" when I measure with a tape measure. These are shown as 17" so I was a little worried. They fit perfectly and even have a little room to spare. Not tight at all. I also usually have trouble with even wide calf boots being too tight in the ankle, but these are very comfortable there also. The cushion in the sole makes these very comfortable to wear all day and I don't get too warm with them on all day indoors. Seriously considering getting them in brown also. Would highly recommend them to women with hard to fit boot issues. I just wish Fitzwell made snow boots also!

What a pleasure to find my size and be able to wear my boots without pain. There is room for warm socks and extra room in the calf area (very unusual for me). I will definitely be purchasing again from Zappos.

These boots are worth every penny! I have combed the internet and shopping malls alike and have never found a boot that truly fit my large calves. Even boots that claim to be wide calf just haven't been wide enough. I am so happy that I found these. Great quality boot, truly soft leather, great support and very comfy. Now I have a great pair of boots that I can zip easily, and they go with everything! Zappos, great video demonstrating these boots! You can see how very wide the calf is!

While these boots aren't particularly striking, they are lovely and really fit perfectly. I have never found any boots to fit my super enormous calves (my larger leg is 18 1/2 inches around the largest part) and these did fit them and weren't too tight either. The stretch section is also very subtle and doesn't distract from the line of the boot. They can get a bit slouchy in the ankle, so if this bothers you, you might want to try another. Also, I thought they were fairly supportive. Very happy with my purchase!

This is a great boot! It is very comfortable. I have larger calves and this is the only boot that fits well! I can even comfortably tuck pants into them because of the elastic on the one side of the boot! These are highly recommended!

Very nice boot! The leather feels soft, the quality is definitely there. But the shaft was too wide for me. Size 11W measures 19". Had it been closer to 17 1/2" as listed, I would be keeping them, but they just look too baggy.

It zipped over my calf just fine with room to spare on top. I ordered my usual size but it felt tight at the back of the heel. A half size up will likely fit better. I thought it would be a tighter fit like a riding boot, but it actually looks just like the picture - loose on top.

I have super ginormous calves. No, really: they are 23 inches (on my size 11W feet)! I have never found any boots that even come close to fitting around these monster gams. But these Fitzwell boots came VERY close! The left boot went on perfectly. Snug but not squeezing or cutting. No struggle to zip it up. The footbed was roomy (I bought a WW instead of my usual W to allow room for thick socks). My ankles can't take heels, so I loved that these were flat. Alas, when I tried on the right boot, it did not fit. I could not get it zipped. Eventually I pulled the shaft down about an inch and a half (scrunching at the ankle) and barely got the zipper too close. But it was such a struggle; no way would I be willing to do that regularly. The leather was thin and, honestly, I didn't think it was leather at first. And there is no padding or support in the footbed. But it was ok. I would have been happy wearing these... if both boots had fit. I can't decide whether to try another pair, in case the right boot was just a normal variation from pair to pair, or just give up again. For anyone with huge calves like mine, give these a try! They will surprise you!

I've had these shoes for a year now and I love them. They're perfect for walking around the city on rainy days. Overall, they are fantastic, but I do have a few issues with them: 1) The gel thingy inside the shoe broke after wearing them all the time for several months, and I have to get those replaced. 2) After wearing for a while, the bottom of the heel became very smooth and slippery; I even fell in a rain puddle once because of it. Again, nothing that the shoe repair can't fix. 2) The calf is a little wider than I'd like it to be. They are roomy on my 16.5 inch calves. I also have the Fitzwell Idaho boots and those fit my calves perfectly, while these are slightly large.

These fit my wide calf. The foot part is a little small, but with time has stretched. They look OK, but are more a good comfort option than a style option.
