I for one found these shoes to be a delight. Being a long-time J&M fan, when I went on my quest for a pair of Chukkas I knew where to go. The shoes are very flexible and comfortable. The size is the same as any other J&M shoe. While it's true there isn't much arch-support, I did not find them uncomfortable after a day's work. Don't let the reviews fool you; there is arch-support compared to something like Converses, just not as much as a sneaker.

I have the brown suede and I am very satisfied with them. The support works for me, pretty comfortable. Does run a little small. Work with business casual or with jeans on the weekend.

This is a great shoe. I only have 2 issues. Number 1 order at least a half size smaller than you normally wear, they run large. Number 2-- buy shoestrings. Mine wore out in 2 months. Other than that, buy them. I wear them with jeans and khakis.

I love the styling on these shoes, but workmanship leaves a bit to be desired. After just a few months of wear, the shoe started to separate from the sole.

These shoes are really comfortable. Just remember than Johnston & Murphy run about a full size smaller than most shoes.

Bought these boots at J & M and within a month the soul has already atarted to separate. This is happening where my toes bend on both sides. Im going to take them back. I loved the shoes otherwise. Wish it hadnt happened.

I purchased this boot based on the Johnson & Murphy brand and look that I was wanting. The appearance was satisfactory. Other than that, I am very disappointed. There is very little support and cushioning. I wanted to return them, but I wore them for a day, and at the end of the day my feet were sore. So, I cannot return them. Therefore, I will no longer purchase such expensive shoes on line.
