THIS BOOT ROCKS! It's perfect...funky but subdued enough to be a classic that I will want to wear forever. And with Frye's quality, I know that they will last! The zipper on the pair I received was absolutely fine. They did seem a half size larger, though. I have the regular Deborah shortie style, and while the 7 I have is a fine fit, this one seems a little longer. I have ordered a 6.5 that I think will be better. And by the way... I ordered this last night at 11:15 pm and received them TODAY at 5:30, during a snowstorm! Zappos (and UPS!) are incredible.

I love the look. They are very well made and worth the cost! The only shock was the size. It runs extremely large. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 (sometimes even an 8), and I had to get a size 6 1/2 in these.

Love these boots, but sadly too big. I am usually between an 8.5-9 so ordered the 8.5, heels lift right out. I live overseas so now have to ship them back to sister to return them. Shame, but, don't want to spend more getting the right size.

Love the grey studded version of this boot. I basically drooled over them for a few years and received them as a Christmas present from my family. Have had them a couple of years now and still in love!

Great looking shoes, fairly comfortable. But it runs big. Love the shoes, but it is too big on me. I wear size 5, the smallest in this style is 5.5. Had to return it.

I absolutley love these boots. I have never spent this much on shoes. They are so cute that when I wear them everyone notices them! I am a size 7 and the 7 was fine. My feet are wide and I have a high instep so sizing down was not good for me. I did try the 6½ as well.

Gorgeous little boot, size runs large as the others have posted but the quality is worth the price. I think the zipper quality is just fine, it sticks but that happens when zipping leather. I wear a 7 1/2 to an 8 depending on the width. I ordered the 7 1/2 and it fits great with a thicker sock (not super thick). Look forward to wearing these a lot!

Cutest boots I've ever owned. These boots are worth every bit of the price as they feel like an old friend the minute you slip them onto your feet. The boots look like they were worn for a couple of years by working cowboys (in a good way) as the leather is already full of character. If you want an eclectic, sleek little boot with personality, then Frye's Deborah Studded is your "huckleberry"!

This is a great comfort boot. It has just enough funky to it, to add a twist of style to the otherwise traditional western boot. I love the color that can be worn with black, brown and gray. Which was my first attraction to it. It's one of those rare boots that do not have to be broken in for a long day of wear. I found I took 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. The price was a bit to consider, but one I felt would be timeless.

I love these boots! They're so unique, the color is beautiful (I got the gray) and the crackled finish is perfect. These are understated and in sync with the studs. They're pricey but I always got great mileage (and compliments) from Frye shoes. They're very comfortable but yes, they do run 1/2 large, even compared to other Frye shoes. I wear 9 and had to exchange them for 8.5. If you can splurge, you won't regret them, they're a classic.

I absolutely love these boots! I first saw them in a boutique in August and tried them on with a pink dress and fell in love. The price (which was higher than Zappos) made me walk away from purchasing them, yet I kept thinking about them. I knew I needed the boots (because they go with everything) so I checked around and Zappos had the best price. I finally ordered them in November and wear them constantly. They are very comfortable and easy to throw on with most anything. I get compliments every time I wear them. I haven't wanted or enjoyed a piece of clothing like this in a while. If you think you want these and have the money to spare, get them! You will not regret.

These little beauties are comfortable as well as gorgeous. The computer monitor can't quite capture the lovely gray/brown color, but they're a lustrous color and the studding is a bit less shiny than in the photos, which I like. I wear mostly a size 8 with the occasional 7.5, and the 7.5 was the perfect fit in these. Although they have a a slightly pointed toe, there's plenty of room in the toebox so toes don't get pinched. The arch support is moderate so if you need good arch support, you will probably have to add an insert. To me they're very comfortable as is and needed no breaking in period, but everyone's feet are different. I noted the zipper problems some people mentioned in previous reviews. The zipper on mine seemed fine, but as a preventive measure I rubbed a bit of waxy lip balm on the zippers and now they slide like a dream. That being said, the opening of the boot is large enough I can easily get my foot in and out without using the zipper. These can be worn so many ways and I don't feel they're limited to being under jeans/pants boots only. Here are a few ways I've worn them: with rolled-up boyfriend jeans, a tee, and casual blazer, with gray tights, gray mini-skirt, and black leather motorcycle jacket, with skinny jeans tucked in and thick wool socks peeking out. Let your imagination run with these because they're truly versatile. They look extremely well made and like they will last for years, as they should for this price. This was by no means an impulse purchase; I mulled over buying these for several weeks and am completely satisfied with this purchase.

I love, love, love these boots. They not only look fabulous, they are VERY comfortable. The leather is soft so they really conform to the shape of your foot. The toe is not too narrow. The design is great. I look forward to wearing them over the holidays and for years to come. I order all my shoes and boots from Zappos because of their return policy, free shipping and great customer service. I never thought I would order shoes online, but Zappos makes it easy and worry free.
