These socks are great! A little thicker than I expected but does the job well. I hiked for hours a day in Patagonia with these socks and although the rest of me was all sweaty, my feet seemed dry and protected.

These are perfect; wore a pair at Saratoga Race Course with lightweight Cole Haan boots, on a rather warm humid day (I'm a photographer there). No moisture accumulated . Should work well this winter season.

Funky little socks, they are dry to a point but it's not like your feet still wont sweat with them on. All in all, they are good socks.

These socks are wonderful! The material feels soft but is not slippery. Size M fits my women's 9.5 feet perfectly. This was my first time buying Drymax but it won't be my last.

Great Hiking Socks - I like that Drymax has two different weights of hiking socks. They have a heavy duty (HD) version for the winter/fall months, then the lite weight version for the spring/summer. They keep my feet blister free and also cool while hiking. They move the moisture from the inside of the foot to the outside of the socks so it's fantastic.

Brands I'd also recommend: Drymax Cold Weather socks for winter sports.

Zappos socks are the best socks I\'ve ever owned. They stay up on my legs and feet which is a big plus for me. They do keep foot odor away as promised! Zappos socks are the best! I love them and now my son loves them too! Thank you Zappos!

I love these socks. They are supportive and warm, but do not make feet sweat. I would buy them again in different styles for different wardrobe applications.

My wife and I wore these for a 25 mile speed hike in rocky, wet, muddy terrain. We changed socks three times. The technology in these socks keeps your feet dry while maintaining great cushioning. I started using drymax after getting a serious blister during a 1/2 marathon trail run using injinji wool blend socks. I plan on staying with this brand for some time.

I ordered these socks with light hiking in mind. I received them the day before a camping/hiking trip in the mountains of West Virginia. On a moderate 6 mile hike through rough terrain, I never even gave my feet a thought because of the comfort. My feet were dry and the heavy duty design of this sock kept any and all blisters away.

I was hesitant to try these socks, but I am very glad I did. They keep your feet dry and provide just the right amount of cushioning for hiking boots or just about any other type of shoe. Buy them, you'll like them!

I was disappointed in this sock. I was looking for a hiking sock that wouldn't be as warm as Smart Wool for hiking in Arizona in May. The toe seam of this sock was not at all smooth and the fabric was not soft. I also felt there was not quite enough padding in the sock to wear with hiking boots.

These are very poor socks, in my opinion. I got them for light hiking in low-top sport boots, which I do daily. I have found that my feet sweat profusely in these socks(Drymax?!). Also, more than one pair quickly developed a hole in the section above the ankle bone (a no wear-and-tear area, you'd think). They're also uncomfortably tight around my rather thick lower leg. While the sock length fits my size 13 foot, the "crew" part of the sock constricts everything above my ankle. They feel like what I imagine diabetic support stockings feel like. Definitely will not buy more of these do not recommend.
