Great boot, great fit. The only thing that was misleading is that it is not an adjustable strap in the front on the boot. It is just elastic. That would have been nice to know before I purchased the boot. Other than that I love Sorel and I love Zappos!

The strap across the front of the boot is not adjustable making it impossible for a 4 year old to get on. Ordered a whole size bigger and they seem to run way too small. An adjustable strap is a must for boots in a smaller size.

I bought these for my 5 year old. Sorel is my go to brand for winter boots in WI! They keep my son's feet dry and warm for hours on end. They are super easy for him to get into by himself which is a bonus!

Super cute, but can't get them on! These boots (in camo) are the cutest things ever! However, I couldn’t get them on my 2-year-old’s feet, and he fought me every inch of the way. Ended up returning for a boot with a zipper!

I just bought my kids these boots for the winter. I'll tell you why I love Kamik boots...the Canadian based company has been in business since 1898, their products are made in Canada AND the USA, their boots are made from recycled plastics, felts and rubber and they use alternative fuels to produce their product. I am only buying new Kamiks because my kids are out-growing them, NOT because they have shown any wear over the past year. If you are in the market for GOOD kids boots, especially if your kids play outside as much as mine do, the buy KAMIK. You will not be disappointed! Oh and did I mention they are NOT MADE IN CHINA!
Brands I'd also recommend: none

Love these boots! These are my 3rd pair for my 6 & 8 year old boys. I decided to try something different this year and bought some North Face boots for my 8 year old. They claimed to be waterproof, but he wore them out in the snow once and his feet were wet. I returned them and went back to the trusty Sorels. We've never had an issue with cold/wet feet with these.

These are the only boots my kids will wear in the snow. As soon as they outgrow them we buy the next size up! They are easy to put on and keep their feet warm & dry. Simple and clean design that wears very well.

I have purchased this boot for my 4 year old son for two years in a row. Winter 2011 I paid full price (note: not cheap) and they were wonderful. These really are high quality, well-made boots. His feet were never cold, not once, despite playing outdoors in the bitter cold for hours. They were so great I bought them again for the Winter 2012. Everything was exactly the same: great quality, warmth, etc. However, toward the end of the winter, in February and March, my son's feet started getting wet. The water, we discovered, came in where the material meets the rubber. The rubber was not cracked. It's that the water resistant coating (the PU Coating) may have started to wear off, or perhaps did not ever work. In the months the boot did not protect his feet from water, the snow was more slushy. I did take them to the store where I purchased and they told me that the only part of the boot that is waterproof is the bottom. So, buyer beware. We did not have any problems with the first pair. With the second pair, after 4 months of wear, they did not live through the entire winter season (Wisconsin winters have snow from November-April).

I had a hard time getting the boot on my 1 year old son because the strap on the front is elastic and not adjustable - but on the positive side, once they are on they don't come off very easily. I would also order at least one size bigger (maybe two) because they did run small.
