The Miura VS is by far the best all-around climbing shoe for the intermediate advanced climber that I have been able to find. It climbs almost anything and performs extremely well whether edging or smearing. I have 2 pair, one for short difficult sport routes; and another, more comfortable pair for longer, multi-pitch trad routes. I\'ve tried other shoes, including other La Sportiva models, but none had the performance and versatility of the Miura.

Miura VS - The Miura VS is my favorite pair of climbing shoes I've ever climbed in. The heel hook is amazing and I have not had a single complaint about the shoe yet. And the fact is, if your foot gets too hot, you can unvelcro them but the tongue keeps your foot in the shoe as long as you don't heel hook. GREAT SHOES!!

These are great shoes but I had to return them. I ordered a size 39.5 but got a size 40 instead. Wore them twice before I noticed they were the wrong size. I've only wore these a couple of times, but they were great. Super aggressive shoe, great edging, love the velcro straps, and like all Sportiva shoes, have great rubber! Will definitely reorder.

What else can be said that hasn't already been said about these shoes? Unbelievable shoe!!! This has got to be the best all around shoe on the market. Incredible edging, incredible smearing, somewhat downturned for steeper stuff, incredible fit, and they feel amazing. The velcro is perfect, it is just as good as lace-ups but without the hassle. Just be sure to try them on first since the heel may not fit everyone, and it has to be a tight to super tight fit for the heel to fit right. Also, these fit very large. If you wanted these crazy tight, you could go down sizes. Best overall sport climbing shoe though ever... I can't say it enough.

The only climbing shoe that can accommodate my son's wide feet. Super comfortable and great for climbing. They run about one size smaller. When buying, one needs to try several sizes.
