True fit, maybe runs a tad large. Gorgeous color light gray and with the white sole they really pop! My daughter just loves them.

I'm a true size 8 in Doc Martens boots. Sometimes I fit into 7.5 for other brands. After reading some of the other reviews saying to size down, I went with 7.5. Received the boots only to find them to be WAY too small! I can't understand why some reviewers claimed these boots were "huge." Yes they're bulky, but they're BOOTS! I returned them and got a size 8 instead, which fit just fine, although still a bit snug. These shoes are pretty narrow without much wiggle room inside (width of my feet is average). They're also a pain to take on/off. So if you're between sizes, go with the bigger size so you can wear some thicker socks. As for style, these boots look very cool and do surprisingly well in winter weather. I went out with them in several inches of snow and they stayed nice and dry.

Originally I ordered Timberlands Teddy Fleece Fold- Down in my normal Size 8 W, got them looked at them tried them on and nope they were too tight. Going through Zappos and reading the reviews and suggestions I then requested 6" Premium and as some reviewers said this boot runs small, I ordered them in 8½ Wide and you guessed it - too big. I am starting to sound like Goldilocks here I know. A fast call to the 800 number and I request and 8W and they are perfect! And I got them in perfect timing as we are expecting a major snow storm today! Zappos you totally rock!

Brands I'd also recommend: RSVP, Columbia, and Timberland

These run on the larger size. I normally wear a women's 6 in boots and purchased these in a 5. Initially they felt stiff, but wearing them around the house fixed that quickly. Great shoe for someone looking for warmth and style, but not ready to pull out the big snow boots yet

When everyone else was sold out, Zappos came through! My niece was very happy when she received the Timberland 6" Premium Boot. I had the boots shipped to her in Dayton, Ohio. The delivery time exceeded expectations. The size was perfect.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that these are genuine hiking/work boots. As such they are very very heavy and not very soft. They will take a beating. But as I was looking for everyday casual boots in this style they were too much for me.

I wanted to try a pair of the trendy "Tims" to determine if I wanted to own a pair - custom made. I don't like these Timberlands. The boot is very heavy. I ordered the size 8 in the Wide width, and it was narrow. I'm not impressed and will stick with my Docs (Dr. Martens).

I love Timberlands. I find them very comfortable with my orthotics. I did order wide based on other reviews. I am glad that I did, they fit perfectly. They are a good Springtime boot in pink. The stiff soles are a plus to prevent plantar fasciitis and joint problems and sore feet for me. I will order brown or black in the fall. As always, Zappos rocks!

Well, I only wore them briefly, but these boots, albeit cute ones, were not worth the price. SIZING: I read a few reviews and ordered a 7 reg, usually I wear 7 or 7.5 when I need a little more room. These length-wise were probably a little big, noticed a little heel slippage wearing around house. My issue was how difficult they were to cram my feet into! I'd have liked one of those little tabs on back, or something. Quite narrow around the tongue. I understand breaking shoes in, and these may have done so splendidly over time, but it wasn't worth the money (i'm a cheapskate, this is the most expensive I've ever ordered) to struggle into a rather heavy shoe (I was hoping to wear it for day to day walking/work). I'm trying another type.

I love these boots. I broke my leg last winter in part due to lack of proper winter shoes. I decided to rectify my mistake before winter came along again this year. These were a great choice, they're sturdy, have good traction, and are fashionable enough for me to wear out and about in NYC. Just a heads up: They were extremely uncomfortable for me for the first three days I wore them. They squeezed at the widest of my foot causing occasional foot spasms. But by the fourth day they magically fit like a glove and have been nothing but comfortable since. Work through the pain, it's worth it.

I bought these Timberland 6" premium Boots for a really high price. These boots are really comfortable send felt true to size. I usually wear a size 10, however going 1/2 size down feels best. I ordered a size 9.5 which really felt true to size. I got the medium width which really felt true to width. After the third week of wearing them, I rode my bike in them in the rain and got them super muddy. I was really scared that the mud wouldn't come off. After about 3 days, the mud wore off and they were perfectly fine again. Two weeks after that, I accidentally leaked oil on them and ruined them. Right now I'm debating whether I should buy a new pair or if I can clean the oil off in any way.

Brands I'd also recommend: Sorry boots, Dr. Martens

I was nervous about the size since every review I read seems to think they are large but they fit me perfectly. I wear a size 6.5 or 7 (and rarely a 7.5) and I ordered a size 7 despite everyone saying to order a size down and they are wonderful. Now I wasnt sure because one boot fit a bit more snug than the other almost like it was narrow on my foot, but I broke them in and they are AWESOME. Completely comfortable. I was ALSO nervous about the color being too red since I ordered the violet but they look exactly the same as the picture displayed and are GORGEOUS! I bought these to hike around in or to wear on the streets and the color is just so adorable they match any outfit!! I am 100% pleased. Get these shoes. Totally worth the money.

These boots are a must for any wardrobe! They go with everything, great style. I'm so pleased with them, I can't even tell you. The only thing I'll warn against is how they run as far as size. I had read that they run about a half size large .. lies. For me, I had to go a FULL size down. I'm a very true 8.5 in everything. I don't have wide feet, I tend to be more on the narrow side. I had to take a 7.5 in these, and they will stretch a little. All and all though, I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. You won't be sorry.

Love these boots! My feet are always warm and dry. My last pair of Timberland lasted 10+ years so I'm hoping these will too. They are a little stiff the first time wearing but they soften up very quickly.

I felt they were pretty true to size, which was unlike some of the reviews I read. I have to admit I absolutely love these boots they are perfect for walking in a city or in wet weather. They keep you from sliding on slippery streets. And they go with skinny jeans, leggings or even a dress with tights.

Despite the comments that these run big I ordered my typical size of a 9. The length fits perfectly. I was hoping to order the wide because sometimes wide width works better for me but Zappos doesn't seem to be carrying the wide anymore for this boot so I ordered the regular width. Surprisingly the width is also good for me; however, the left boot is very tight at the base of the tongue. Has anyone else had this problem? Will it stretch out or should exchange for a different pair? The right boot (which is actually my bigger foot) fits fine with no pressure in the tongue area.

Love my Timb's! Exactly as pictured. They do run small. I normally wear an 8 and ordered a 7 because of the reviews I read about them running small and I'm glad I did. The 7 fit great! Had to break mine in a little. Around my ankles were a little sore the first couple times I wore them. So, don't plan on some big adventure the first time you wear them.

I wouldn't have believed Timberland could make an uncomfortable boot but here it is! I absolutely hate it and will definitely return it. I don't want a boot I have to wear for days to break in...there are too many others out there that are comfortable right out of the box. I couldn't be more disappointed.

They fit really well I would say though contrary to the many reviews on here don't go a full size down just a half size. They did feel narrow to (but thats probably because I have wide and flat feet) They're cute and sturdy boots that give that give you just the right amount of ruggedness/edge to your outfit.

First off, a warning on size! Based on other reviews suggesting that these run big, I ordered a 7 when I normally wear a 7.5 or even an 8. I was nervous when these boots arrived and I saw a 7 on the box, thinking "Oh no, wrong size!" but I'm really glad I ordered down because they fit perfectly, especially after breaking them in a bit. I can tell they would have been way too roomy had I ordered my normal size, which is a problem I've had with boots like these in the past that end up giving me blisters because of how much my foot wiggles around inside! In terms of functionality, I find them to be comfortable and I do quite a bit of walking. And perhaps most importantly, they are wonderfully waterproof! They make you feel powerful as you can splash right through deep puddles without thinking twice. Whenever it's wet out I put these on and feel instantly protected from the elements, and comfy too! I can tell they're going to become even more comfortable as I wear them in over time.

I did a ton of research on winter boots this year to find a pair I found both stylish enough to wear all the time and rugged enough to withstand Midwestern winters. Previously I've worn Keen, Sorel and Dr. Martens at varying times in the winter. I ended up on this pair and now that I have the correct size I have to say I love them! It did take me two orders of the black pair to get the sizing correct; I have a long, narrow foot and my true size is typically a 9.5 but I found that the 9.5's footbed was really narrow even with a thin sock on. I would advise sizing up a half size if you want a comfortable fit, especially if you're rocking these as winter footwear. Overall I really am satisfied with my purchase, with Zappos' fast exchange, and the quality of the product. Ugly dreaded winter boots be gone!!

I'm normally a 7.5 wide. Got an 8, and they fit perfect. Had to wear for about a week to break them in. I love the black, they look amazing with everything. I used ground shipping and it only took 3 days to get there! I love them. So comfy!

I love my Timberlands. They are comfortable and when it snows they'll really be quite appropriate. If you want a boot to wear with jeans or pants these are a great choice. Also you can put a heavy sock, tights or stockings on with them. Worth the price.

Brands I'd also recommend: Perhaps Frye. They are pricey but last.

Great boot in terms of construction and quality. My daughter wears a 9 1/2 and we ordered the 9 1/2 - length was perfect with a medium weight sock, but unfortunately there is too much heel slip.

Very disappointed in Timberland. I have had the same black boot like this one for 20 years...10 medium...put my orthotics in them...but these were so narrow and the inside footbed couldn't come out. So I was not able to use any orthotics with them...and also absolutely no arch support at all. Thanks Zappos for the quick delivery!
