I can’t say enough good things about both the Wichita and the Phuket sandals! I have narrow feet and an active lifestyle, but still like to look stylish. I would recommend them to anyone who needs good arch support and support of the metatarsal area, and I also get tons of compliments on how stylish they are. I bought my first pair (Phukets) several years ago when I had been struggling to recover from plantar fasciitis for almost two years. The anatomical footbed fit my foot so good that I actually think they supported my foot better than my custom orthotics. Thanks to them, my plantar fasciitis is finally gone. They are pricey, but it’s worth it to prevent recurrence of the plantar fasciitis, and keep my bunions supported, too. I wear these sandals whenever I have to walk long distances or stand on my feet a lot, and even for light hiking. Obviously, being sandals, the side-to-side foot stability isn’t there, but they are the most comfortable footwear I own. I even wear them in the house all Winter because they support my feet so well. I do agree that the toe thong takes some getting used to. It took me about two weeks of wearing them only around the house, and adjusting the thong to maximum length, but now I have no problems at all with it. Some of the leathers are stiffer than the others and therefore the toe thong is stiffer. If you tried one pair and thought the thong was too stiff, try another pair in one of the softer leathers. I also agree that the leather does stretch somewhat over time (natural for a leather shoe, seems to me). The velcro on the adjustable strap is sized for a medium width foot. With my narrow foot, I had to have my local shoe shop move the velcro after about a year so that I could continue to tighten the straps enough to fit my foot. The velcro does wear out, too, over time. That repair only cost about $10, so small price to pay for continued good fit and comfort! My first pair (in brown) lasted me two summers of almost continuous wear. Since then, I have purchased 3 more pairs of the Phukets (in silver, brown and bronze). When the Wichitas came out, I didn’t "need" another pair, but I liked the new style so much, I decided to get a pair. I was living in Germany at the time, where Finn Comforts are made. But my local FC store said they weren’t being made for the German market. So, I had to order mine from Zappos and have them shipped to Germany! Well worth it though. The straps on the Wichita fit my narrow foot even better and there seems to be added cushioning in the heel. The silver color is really unique and goes with almost any outfit I wear them with. I have had no problems with the decoration falling off. I swear by the padded version of the insoles. You can order the padded insoles separately and swap them out when the original ones get worn out.

I love Finn Comfort and have two other pairs of their shoes; however, this style was uncomfortable around the toe strap. I tried adjusting it as the shoe allows but it never was comfortable. Returned them for that reason, and buying a different Finn Comfort style.

I bought these in the bronze. The jewel on them fell off within a few weeks. They look okay without it, but for flip-flops that cost this much, I felt the wear was not at all impressive. I think they are comfortable, but not particularly well made. The insole also is frayed; just my experience.

Love the sandal. They are a "comfort" shoe, but the most attractive one Finn has come out with so far. (This is my fourth pair of Finn's, first sandal.) Great for a wide foot.

Brands I'd also recommend: Earth flip flops, Ara ballet slippers, Naot

Offers a hard to find combination of superb arch support and fashionable looks. The sandal is extremely comfortable. I have had very good luck with two other pairs of Finn Comfort shoes, but you have to treat them as an investment in yourself and your future foot health, as the price is very significant. Nevertheless, I would rather wear one pair of Finn for the whole summer than 10 pairs of cheap sandals that are bad for my feet.

Finn in just fine! This is an attractive and comfortable shoe. In no time, your foot adjusts to the shoe. The toe thong is comfortable and the bed is a cloud that you walk on.

Brands I'd also recommend: All Finn shoes. My mother has a pair and loves them.

Love these shoes! I love Finn Comfort -- I have three pairs of these shoes in different colors. I consider them an investment because they last forever -- my first pair still looks new & they are 3 years old. I like that these shoe have style, as well as providing the comfort. I just wish Finn made more shoes with the added style.

Brands I'd also recommend: Think -- only I do not feel they provide the support

I purchased a pair of these last season and while they are very comfortable and attractive they do grow in size the more you wear them. I wear a size 39 and now after one season of wearing them they have just plain gotten wider and now I can't wear them.

Very pretty in the "Oro" finish. They will work well with any color you'd wear in summer and nice with either gold or silver jewelry or accessories because the finish is so nice and mellow, not garish. I take a 6.5 wide and my baby toe wants to hang off the side. I do not like that look at all, however, I am keeping them because I have various foot-pain problems, but I wore these for a full shift at work and my feet felt fantastic. The sole is sturdy and looks like they will take a lot of walking without wearing out. I will just have to "hug" that baby toe in if someone is looking!

I love the look, color and comfort of this shoe (and all Finn Comfort shoes). Unfortunately, the leather strip between the toes on this style is uncomfortable for me. This is a great shoe for anyone who does not experience issues with this type of sandal.

I purchased this shoe 1 year ago. It fits well and is comfortable. My only issue is the pewter color, it doesn't appear to be wearing well. Very attractive new but it won't look good for long.

Finn Comfort Wichita - I found these to be far less comfortable than other reviewers. The footbed is reasonably comfortable and wide enough for my on-the-wide-side-of-medium feet. However, the leather upper is surprisingly low and barely allows enough room for my foot between the upper and the footbed, even after adjusting the toe buckle and the velcro strap. The thong part between the toes is quite rough and requires some getting used to. I decided to keep them because the color was exactly what I was looking for (I ordered the "red," which is actually coral), but they'll never be my favorite pair of sandals.

This very stylish, airy, and comfortable thong looks wonderful on the foot and it is an adult shoe - it does not flop or slap your foot. It adjusts over the instep and even better, the small buckle at the toe allows you to shorten or lengthen the vertical portion between your toes to customize the fit. Unfortunately for me, the attachment point of this vertical piece on the footbed was too far forward - it rubbed on both toes instead of nestling in the larger open space at the junction between the big toe and the next. My foot is very difficult to fit for thongs styles because of this problem. It is too bad because the style, comfort, and soft metallic white Corten color was gorgeous - perfect summer shoe for the office and vacation - goes with so many things.
