I’ve been having problems finding the right office shoe. I like something I can wear almost every day. The leather and finish seemed a bit hard in the beginning. I wasn’t sure, but after a few weeks they have become one of the best shoes I’ve owned in years. They look sharp and feel good all day. Bottom line: I will buy them again when this pair wears out.

Elegant shoe with supple leather and throw Nike technology on top of that! This is shoe is a no brainer! You can't lose, get it if you can. Zappos is awesome.

Very comfy shoes. Took about a month to fully break in. The break-in period wasn't bad either. Love them and will definitely get another pair once these are worn out.

I ordered this shoe going by the reviews. I have high arches and every time I take a step with this shoe my foot goes either inwards or outwards. So I am returning them. PS, excellent service from Zappos.

I purchased these to replace my worn out CH Santa Barbara's. These are a perfect replacement! Soft, comfortable, no break in time! I wear an 11 in CH's. I wear a 12 in Nikes. Sometimes this helps people. These do have a shine to them, not patent, but close.

My husband's favorite shoe! My husband likes to look good but wants it to be effortless and comfortable. He has worn this shoe since it was first introduced. It looks great with jeans, chinos or slacks. He always has two pairs - one for everyday and one to wear with slacks. The Nike Air in the full sole is very comfortable.

Good things come to those who wait - The shoes were a little stiff at first, but after breaking them in, they are very comfortable. I did get me a blister on my heel, so I wore band-aids on my heels for about a week until the shoes were broken in. The color is a little lighter than the picture, but it looks great. Versatile shoe that can be dressed down or up. I am very happy with my purchase because they get more comfortable each time I wear them.

Better than expected! This was the first time I used Zappos. The picture does not do these shoes justice. They are beautiful and Zappos is amazingly great to deal with. I would recommend these shoes and this site.

This is a great shoe for business casual wear. For full business attire (i.e., a suit), I prefer my Allen Edmonds shoes but the Air Dempseys are great for just about everything else. They were comfortable and pretty true to size right out of the box.

Husband's Happy Feet! Bought these for my hubby in black first and he liked them so well I got him brown too. ALL the Cole Haan Air's are great (men's and women's). He gets that athletic shoe comfort but a nicer, more dressed up look.

A classic shoe for northern climates - OK, first off, I ordered these shoes at 8p.m. and had them at my door by noon the next day...kudos Zappos for amazing service. I have owned Cole Haans before so I matched my size and they fit great once the leather warmed up. The shoe is elegant and dressy enough for work and has the rubber sole for the snow covered sidewalks. I was looking for a slip-on for travel that could handle the elements and was comfortable without a traditional heavy sole. The price was well worth it. I’m completely satisfied.

Great looking shoe that is cushion to walk on - This shoe looks very dressy, but is very comfortable with the Nike Air sole. Slip-on and off easy at the airport. Dressy enough for work. A nice shade, slightly lighter than "standard" brown you get with dress shoes.

Excellent pair of loafer with lots of cushioning and arch support. I purchased in both black and papaya. Beware that the papaya color looks totally different than in the photo provided. It is a much lighter shade of brown, with an aged leather look and a mirror-shine finish.

These are nice shoes. But they are stiff and extremely shiny. They are also, a tight fit for wide feet (order E width and they are still snug). They probably would break-in nicely, but I am not going to take the chance, and will exchange for my reliable standby tie oxford.

Cole Haan's Air Dempsey Venetian Review - I rated the shoe 4 stars overall because it’s just ok for the price. The shoe has a slick shiny black finish, when I was looking for more of a natural leather soft black finish. The picture was hard to tell, and from the description of calf leather, I thought it would be a softer look. For a wide shoe, it was still a little narrow. The inside of the shoe lacks padding that I've felt in less expensive shoes. I was looking for an everyday work shoe with some comfort, but this shoe is more like a Sunday shoe that you don't need to wear too long. I almost returned the shoe, but decided to bear with it.

I bought these shoes for my husband. They looked very nice and he loved how comfortable they were, but within a month or so, the leather started peeling off the toe section. Very disappointing in a shoe at this price point.
