Purchased this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He's a pretty big guy and most jackets are just too bulky for him so he'd rather not wear a jacket and be cold than be stuffed into a bulky jacket. He loves this jacket and actually wears it! As a side note, we have pets and it seems that pet hairs don't like to stick to this and that's a double plus for me.

My fiance loves this jacket. It's roomy, but not too sloppy looking. Lightweight and super warm especially for windy days. Looks great with a t-shirt, or a collared short underneath. I bought this coat for my husband. We love the look and overall fit of the coat, but we will be returning it because his shirt sleeves bunch up when ever he puts it on. It takes quite some time to get them straightened out and is something that would be frustrating to deal with each time he puts it on. Nice fit. Material is not soft; however, feels more cardboardy (if that makes any sense). Good wind resistance, but not as warm as a fleece jacket.

It is very hard to go wrong with a North Face product. I made the assumption that wind proof had the smooth surface on the outside. This jacket, while attractive, has a soft fleece outside. It would not work for a tree care salesman as too much debris would stick to the surface. Thanks for your great return policy. We will look to Zappos for future needs.

North Face is known for the quality of their products and this jacket is no exception. Rock solid construction! The jacket has a fairly tight weave and for a fleece jacket can be just a bit stiff. It is also cut for a fit individual, not particularly roomy, but with current fashion trends more of a fitted look. The overall look is excellent, accenting the length of your torso. The comfort is also excellent. Strong wind resistance, warm, and pleasant. I recently wore this jacket on a cold misty day in Grand Teton National Park and was very pleased with its performance. I washed it after returning home and found it looks great after washing too.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. Perfect for fall weather, has a nice weight to it, and would be great to pair with a tee shirt. Fits true to size. I would recommend hanging this to dry or dry on low heat so the sleeve length doesn't shrink too much.
