This has to be one of the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. My mom bought a pair of these (otter color) after purchasing a pair for herself. They are super comfortable, stylish, warm, and waterproof; which is important for me since I live in Washington State where it rains 9 months out of the year. I love the sheepskin inside the boot since it keeps your feet warm, but does not overheat your feet or make them sweaty. These boots can be worn with thin or thick socks. You can also wear these boots with your pant leg tucked into the boot or worn out over the boot. This gives you two looks with one boot. These boots were the first pair of Uggs that I have owned and I am completely won over! I highly recommend these boots!

I have been wearing these shoes almost daily for a little more than a month now. When I first started to wear these boots, I had nothing but amazing things to say about them. Very comfortable, though they are a bit wide (they are winter boots!) they still fit my narrow feet comfortably. They were warm in the chilly fall weather and kept my feet completely comfortable. But over the past couple of weeks I have noticed my feet feeling a bit damp in when I am walking in moderately wet weather or snow/ice. I had thought the boots were supposed to be waterproof, but I am very disappointed to realize this is not the case. While my feet are not soaked, they definitely are not staying warm or completely dry. Also it seems as if water may be trapped in the boots somehow. Even after having them dry overnight. Now my boots are very squeaky as well. I have taken out the removable footbed and am trying to dry out the weird dampness with baby powder. But this is not something that I wanted to have to do after spending so much money on the shoes. I do wear these for hours on end each day, as I am a dog walker so I put some good wear into the boots. But they should not have this type of problem after only a month or two. I also have to say that the shearling inside at the ankle has worn off already and has worn off quite a bit already off the removable foot bed. I am so disappointed now in what I thought of at first as the most comfortable cozy pair of winter boots. I will now have to continue to look for a pair of good warm, waterproof winter boots.

I love these boots. I needed a pair of hunting boots and the ones I tried on were not comfortable and I didn't know if they would keep my feet warm. I bought these boots because I knew the sheepskin lining would be warm. They are wonderful, never have cold feet and they keep me dry in all snowy, wet conditions. They are comfortable, I could wear them for hours and never feel them. If you have worn boots that are not comfortable you know what that means. The other day I put on my old hiking boots because the weather is warm and dry but they were so uncomfortable, I changed into the UGGS instead. I walk the hills in them and do notice that the section around the ankle is not as supportive as other hiking boots as they will buckle a bit but I can accept that with all the other positive attributes. I have worn 2 pairs of socks and do not feel cramped but also one pair of socks and do not feel like they are too loose. The sheepskin lining cradles your foot. These boots are highly recommended if you are looking for warm, waterproof boots. I also love the fact that you can wear them rolled down showing the sheepskin or roll them higher for more support.

Love the color and style. Only issue is that it is narrow. I am hoping it will stretch after continuous wear.

After all the reviews I decided to purchase a pair to deal with the never ending snow in NYC. The boot can be folded over for versatile styling and is super comfortable. My feet are always cold and the lining keeps my toes toasty. I have narrow feet and normally wear a size 8 or 8.5. Unfortunately the 8 was just a tad small for me and they didn't have the larger size at Zappos so I had to return them. Still would recommend this boot.

I have had these boots for the past 3 winters and I have worn them every day for work. They have endured and are very comfortable, warm and waterproof. I don't even tie them half the time and they still are warm and fit well. I run up and down stairs carrying heavy stuff in all conditions indoors and outdoors. They are not so clunky. The soles have lost some tread and I am starting to slip at times but I believe that is to be expected with the amount of wear they have had. I have worn other boots and these definitely keep my feet warm and dry. Very supportive and my feet don't ache after wearing them like with other boots. Love them.

I was hesitant to purchase these boots because of the price. I have to say these are the best, most comfortable, stylish, awesome boots ever. They are worth every penny. I told my husband I feel like I am wearing "snow slippers." I wear an 8 to 8 1/2 - I got them in an 8 and they are just perfect.. I live in CT and we are having the worst snow and ice ever - these boots have saved me! Love!

These boots are amazing. I am so glad I ended up buying them. I am the kind of person who refuses to spend more on a pair of shoes (horrible for my feet I am sure), but after half a winter of soaked, cold feet from my cheap boots, I decided to invest in a pair of boots that were cute but practical. These are the best boots I have ever worn. I have gotten tons of compliments on them. They are so comfortable and my feet are warm and dry even in this winter where we're getting below freezing temperatures almost every day in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as several inches to a foot of snow. I've gone sledding in these and my feet stayed warm the entire time. Cleaning them will probably cost money (I plan on taking them to a dry-cleaner who cleans Uggs when winter is over), but with the way my feet feel it is so very worth it. I have met other people with Ugg boots who have said they last forever, so I'm betting mine will too. I have wide feet but had no issues with the width in these. Usually wear a size 8.5 in most shoes, didn't know my size in Uggs but ordered a size 8 and it worked perfect. I also have high arches but my feet are comfortable in these. I waited a month or so to write this review because I wanted to give them a true review and I have nothing bad to say. Best purchase I have ever made.

I thought these would be the warmest boots I had ever bought and justified the price for the quality and advertised warmth. When I got them I tried them on inside and they were the most comfortable boots I had ever tried on. I then walked from my house to my car (in 25 degrees and 2 inches of snow) and felt cold air on my toes. I thought I must not have tied the laces tight enough, retied and went to work. Next walk (4 blocks) from car to work and again, drafty cold toes. I discovered that while the bottom and sides have the nice thick shearling, the top inside is mostly just rubber with a thin lining. Now, they have been worn and got kicked with salt, so no returns. I now have to wear them with 2 pr. of socks to achieve pretty much the same amount of warmth I have in rubber rain boots. I expected much more. :(

These are the best snow boots hands down. I bought them in 2010 for a snowstorm in Boston and will be retiring them finally this year after spending the winter months in Michigan, Minnesota and parts of Canada. They have withstood the snow, ice, salt and gravelly muck and manage to still keep my feet warm and dry as well as keeping me stable walking outside in slippery conditions. I will be buying another pair for next winter to replace these as they are my go-to boot - now just to decide if I want a different color to to stick to the otter color for the next pair. Worth the price and definitely are up to withstanding the storm.

I love these boots! Just order a size up because I had to exchange them for a larger size. My only problem was the strip of patent leather has a small crack on them which really isn't too noticeable. I would stick the all leather and suede ones. I will be ordering at least two more pairs!

These boots are well worth the money. Warm and keep your feet dry. I was skeptical of the Ugg boots and didn't believe that the Ugg boots were really warm. I bought my first pair this winter and fell in love with them (I now have 4 pair). The Adirondack boot are heavier than the regular Ugg boot; however, they are still very comfortable. These boots are great for the Midwest winter. I usually wear a size 8; however, in the Ugg boots I wear a 9. Best value (warm and dry feet) for your money.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable (with a lot of NYC walking) and really warm in all this extremely cold weather. But most importantly, I wasn't slipping on the snow/ice.... I did take the advice of others and went up a half size. I was glad I did.

I am normally a 7.5 in regular shoes, and 8 in running shoes and a 7 in traditional UGGS. I ordered these in an 8 and they still felt small? My big toe touched the end & top of the boot. It's possible that once the lining wore down a little it would fit, but I'm not willing to risk that expense and not be able to return them? Sadly going back now.

So I have two pairs of these. The second pair isn't a replacement pair (I wanted a second color) but it was a decision that I really mulled over. I considered several different pairs and brands of boots but ultimately decided to go with the adirondack again. This is why I ultimately chose to get another pair and why it wasn't that easy of a decision. I bought my first pair at Saks or Bloomy's or somewhere in Manhattan in spring of 2011, maybe? I don't remember exactly when/where I purchased them, but I loved them. It was definitely manhattan, and they were definitely cheaper than i could've gotten them elsewhere. (Where I'm from in PA, the shoe stores just put unsold winter-weather ugg boots in the backroom during the off-season, but not in manhattan. I was so excited!) When I got them home, I cried tears of pride. That whole spring and summer, I remember regularly praying for an early winter so I could wear my boots, but I also wore them regularly before that (to wash my car, my dad's car, my sister's car- everyone's car. Wearing shorts, a tshirt and uggs. I looked so ridiculous, but I was so proud.) The night before Halloween that year, we got a foot of snow. I felt so guilty. I swore it was my fault because of how many times I prayed for early snow just cuz I wanted to wear my boots. I felt guilty, but I also felt fabulous. I made a spooky snowman in my front yard while wearing my fabulous boots. Fast forward. It's been 2.5 harsh winters, and I still love my boots, but I'm not as enthusiastic to recommend them as I once was. I have an autoimmune disease that causes secondary raynauds - aka i have terrible circulation in my hands and toes so I'm always cold. Just opening the fridge makes my hands feel like ice cubes, and it hurts at times. I do love these boots, but now I notice that my feet are always cold and a little damp when I wear them. The snow this year has been rough- we've had a few blizzards and other miscellaneous (crappy) winter weather. The sludge is the total worst. Through all the frozen wind and chiseling my car from ice or digging it out of snow, I've noticed the boots aren't super duper dry or super duper warm. But I take it with a grain of salt cuz I am sensitive to the cold. I have to wear a lot of socks regardless, and I always carry spare socks, so I am ok with it. No shoes would be capable of warming up my icy toes. I've tried. That's why I decided to write a review- as a positive endorsement with a mini disclaimer. Overall, my feet feel damp, but the boots have good traction- as in, haven't fallen yet. I really hope I didn't just jinx myself. The boots are pretty enough that I feel I can get away with wearing them, laced up over my slacks at work. (I'm a retail pharmacist with a little bit of an edge. A retail pharmacy is a forgiving place if you're spunky and competent.) The boots are stylish enough to wear with yoga pants (ahem, slacks if my bosses or elderly customers ask) and still retain the image of a quirky but semi-polished pharmacist. My feet don't hurt at the end of my 14 hour days, nor do my knees or back, etc. If I have to trek through snow (it's happened as many times already this year in PA as it had cumulative in the last 3 years) my feet aren't as warm as they could be, and they feel maybe a little damp. I think the take home points are that my feet look good and are comfy (not everyone's feet are the same though) but they can be chillier and damp. Take that as you will. I have a little more disposable income than some people, and I decided the good outweighed the bad FOR ME and just bought a second pair. Just realize that they're not the end-all, be-all. They're not totally perfect. But I liked them enough, and I could afford it. Make sure you consider all of those factors, as well as the relatively high price. :) Happy shopping!

Whoever said their feet were warm in these boots probably were paid to say it. Sure, indoors it is warm, but from the hotel door to the car, the bottom of my feet were frozen. These are supposed to be winter waterproof boots but I walked on snow to the car and it the only way my feet would be frozen is if snow got in. I tied the short shoelaces tightly so there is no way snow got in that way. Plus, the bottom of my feet was cold so it got in from the soles somehow. Crappy shoes but I can't return it. I thought because of the review, price and brand it would be great but obviously not. You would also think that the shoelaces would be long enough but they aren't and there are black stains on the laces too. Not what I expected at this price level. I would return it but it's already used. There was no way I could find out how good these are without wearing it outside.

Luscious! Super comfortable, and they look like they could take on any kind of weather. The navy is understated, and the blue fleece and suede are a gorgeous shade of blue. I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered the 9, as suggested in the reviews. Perfect fit.

Worth the wait! I've been eyeing these for 3 years and received them for Christmas. Let me say first that they do not run small. I wear a size 9 wide and have the 9 boot. Fits perfect. I'm not one to squeeze my foot into anything! I gave them 4 stars for comfort because they are a little heavy. I'm not entirely surprised given what they are. I wear socks with them and my feet are plenty warm. I could probably get away without wearing them but don't want to stink up the liner. This is the third pair of Uggs that I have owned and I'm still happy!

So glad I found these Ugg boots! I wear 7 1/2 to 8 depending on brand and style of shoes and boots, but these boots felt a full size smaller. I had to return the 8.5 and ordered a 9, which was perfect with a pair of thin/medium weight socks. I have a variety of boots for different weather, but these will be my all around, general purpose comfy and warm boots. This Montana winter has been unusually cold and these boots are perfect! This is a really popular boot as I had a hard time finding the right size. Finally found the Otter color in a 9 after much checking back to various sites.

I love these boots. I originally bought a size 7 1/2, because the reviews I read said they ran a little small. I returned them for my size 7 and they were perfect. If anything, I would say they were a little narrower by my toes than I like, but I have wide feet from walking barefoot all the time. Great boots.

Last year (2012) I have bought grey Adirondack boots. After winter has gone, I put them in their original box and took them few days ago. I was terrified! Grey sheepskin outside was in two grey/grey petroleum blue colors. I immediately wrote to Ugg but they answered that warranty is just for a year. Great, I paid them almost 300 and they last just a year. I will never buy new pair of Ugg boots.
