These are comfortable and just interesting enough to be stylish. They are a solid pair of white sneakers. They are very comfortable to wear and stand around in, but not recommended for walking missions: you will probably suffer chafing at the front of your foot due to the rigid cap. That comes with wearing Chucks, I suppose.

These shoes are super cute. They're more comfortable than the Chuck Taylors but they do need to broken in. The arch support is minimal at best so anticipate needing additional arch supports. They run big so I had to go a half size down. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Love these shoes.

These shoes go well with shorts, jeans, khakis, etc. They are perfect with almost any style. Although they fit half s size small I definitely am glad that I chose to get the Converse Jack Parcels. Now I have to get the black ones.

I ordered these sneakers in a 6½ and they are too big. They feel like a 7. But, the padding is wonderful! Like walking on a cloud. And the width is nice as well. They are not so big that my feet look bigger than they are, but not so narrow that they are uncomfortable. So I am now ordering them in a 6. I have been ordering a lot of sneakers over the course of the last two weeks and these are more comfortable than Uggs, and Keens. They are much more comfortable than the regular Converse All Star sneakers.

Warning: the navy Jack Purcells pictured are not what you get when you order navy Jack Purcells. Unlike the blue and white, the "navy" Purcells have white stitching all over which make it look more like a Chuck Taylor. :(

Nice shoe for kicking around in the summer. Bit more refined than Chuck Taylors. Run a little small, no arch support.

It's wonderful to be able to find these classics again. Actually, they're upgraded; back in the day I don't remember the tongue being so thick, nor was the insole cushioned quite as much. The heavy duty laces, featuring metal-wrapped aglets, are a nice touch as well. They're a tight shoe, though. I bought them with the intention of wearing them without socks, and it's a good thing. Still, classic style, brilliant white that cleans up well with mild detergent and water. They look fantastic and I am very happy with them.

I've been wearing Jack Purcell's for 20 years. This is the first pair I've bought since Nike took them over. They've changed a couple things. Sizing seems slightly larger, added padding round the ankle and metal aglet with the logo stamped out.

I like the style of these shoes better than the Chuck Taylor's. Beware that these shoes are narrow. If your feet are even moderately wide get a half size bigger. I wear a 9 in Chuck's and a 9.5 in JP's.

Classic white sneakers. Perfect for the summer. They have a soft sole, but have a tendency to be tight around the sides of my feet. Maybe I need to break them in. Either way, I love these shoes and have for years.

Feels sturdier and better made than the originals. Laces, cushioning, lining, etc are all higher quality while still maintaining the classic look of the original.

I like the look of the shoes, but wearing them for an entire day may not be so comfortable. I've gotten other Converse that ran big, so I chose the same size as the slips. Usually I'm a 12 1/2, so I usually get Converse in 11 1/2. These, I would say, 12 would be good.

Classic style, timeless look, and comfortable footbed. However, I had to return mine because of how very narrow they are. I normally have to order a 2E wide, and have trouble finding casual shoes that aren't painful to wear. I'll give the lace-up Converse All-Stars a try as my slip-ons were great. Thanks Zappos for making everything so easy and painless!

These shoes are super cute and sturdy, but the sizing is a little small for women. I usually wear a 7 or 7½, and so I ordered the 6 men / 7½ women, and they were too small.

I'm a dedicated Converse fan. A decade ago it was only Chuck Taylor's, but once I was turned on to the more comfy, more stylish Jack Purcell's I've never looked back. This is probably my 4th pair in 10 years.

I have had dozens and dozens of pairs of Chuck Taylor's over the course of my lifetime, and decided to branch out to these. I love them! The look is very similar to Chuck's, except the shoes are better made and have some arch support and some tongue padding. They are very comfortable! The most important thing I can say is that because they actually have cushioning, they do NOT fit the way other Converse do. I ordered my "Chuck's size" (6) and had to return and get the size I wear in other sneakers (7).

I originally ordered these shoes for vacation purposes, (Disneyland and Mexico) but have found that I wear them far more often than I thought. They are super comfortable and I get compliments on them all the time. They are a great everyday sandal, but I also love the fact that they can be worn in water. I'm very happy with this purchase!

They are exactly what you expect. Cool looking, not terribly comfortable for standing around in, but fine for when you don’t have to be on your feet all day.

The lining of the upper and of the removable insole has a synthetic feel, though it may indeed be cotton. Either way, my feet stay dry when I wear these shoes without socks, and it would seem Converse has designed the shoes with that wearing preference in mind. The shoes are very well made and superior materials are used. Just check out the quality of the laces. The navy Purcells look good, but white ones would have looked more streamlined. I just didn’t want to have to deal with a white pair showing dirt. Then again, I am so pleased with the pair I have that I may order a white pair for limited wear in fair weather.

I have come to the conclusion that Converse of any shape and size are not suitable for tall people. I'm over 6 ft and this is the second pair of Converse I have tried. Both pairs have been very uncomfortable.

I will like these once they break in, but they\'re quite stiff out of the box! I think they are slightly bigger than my All-Stars of the same size.

A nice change from the All Stars everyone is wearing, and more comfortable, too. No arch support to speak of, but the insole is very bouncy. Got the white ones and will probably get a darker colored pair in the fall.

I normally wear a man's size 4 Chuck Taylor and although the size chart on Zappos has the Jack Purcells at a half size larger, I found them a lintel on the tight side. I would recommend ordering a whole size larger they you would commonly wear in a Chucks. That said, I was amazed at how quickly Zappos shipped my order with free shipping no less. I've shopped at Zappos before and I could say their customer service and shipping methods have only improved.

Great shoes, fit true to size and go well with shorts and jeans\/khakis alike. I think they\'re a little more sophisticated than the Chucks so if you want something comfortable to wear to a polo match or something I would recommend. Soles are pretty soft which can be weird at first.
