Great shoes. I have several pairs of Mephisto, this one is definitely one of my favorites. The shoes are beautiful and comfortable. My feet felt good the first time I put these shoes on, no need to break in. You can wear them in any occasion. You can't go wrong with these shoes. One reviewer was very helpful in pointing out that you should order one half size down. Zappos delivery was ridiculously fast!

Ordered these one half size smaller than the usual size my husband wears in Mephisto's. Gave them to him for Christmas and he loves them. He says they feel even more comfortable the more he walks in them.

I have another pair of Mephisto's, a casual shoe (not boot) in a "European 10" (US 10.5) and they fit perfectly. So I ordered these boots in the same size and they are enormous. I will probably reorder in a smaller size - great shoe!
