This is one of my two "very dressy" shoes for suits and special occasions. Love the vamp shape on these, the leather is softer than nearly all of my other dress shoes, and the arch support is much more substantial - with about a half inch more heel lift than my various Magnanni or Allen Edmonds shoes. The lack of fancy stitching makes the marble of the staining easy to see and easy to clean/polish. These darkened easily with even tiny amounts of Kiwi leather conditioner, so I would recommend "Bick 4" for these to keep their color. To keep all that smooth leather at it's best, use shoe trees. Keep these out of the rain! The elongated toe will cause the sole to chisel easily at the toe-tip if you walk on sidewalks, so adding TOPYs might be a good idea if you will be walking in an urban environment much. Like nearly all dress shoes, ordering a half or whole size smaller than your athletic shoe size is recommended.

These shoes are beautiful to look at and reasonably well constructed but they are made of the flimsiest leather I have ever seen. Portions of the shoe, notably the sides of the vamp (upper) are virtually paper-thin. The flimsiness of the materials led to significant and severe creasing in just three wears. Additionally, the use of a standard cedar shoe tree (to help retain shape and reduce creasing) put visible and permanent marks on the outsides of both sides of the shoe, where the squared bottom of the upper/toe portion of the tree presses against the sides of the shoe. In short, this is the poorest quality leather I have in a sizable shoe collection. If you buy these shoes for style, wear them infrequently since they will not hold up in heavy rotation. This presumably goes for the TBNY Windsor and Edmond, which are variants of the same shoe (I think). I purchased these when they were on sale for $279 and they aren't even worth that much. The price-to-quality ratio at the normal retail prices is terrible. Compared to the leathers used in, say, a Magnanni, Allen Edmonds, or even a Mezlan shoe (their Spanish-made products), the materials used by TBNY for this shoe are terrible.

I absolutely love these shoes! Leather is very soft which allows for easy break-in. The last on these shoes are classic with a modern twist. These shoes do run half a size large. I am a true 8 1/2, a size 8 were perfect for me!

One of the most attractive shoes I've had the privilege to wear. The shoes look even nicer and better shaped than in the photos. The last is beautiful, clearly more Euro-inspired but subtle enough to avoid strangeness. The details are a wonderful balance of decorative flair and restrained simplicity. Fit at a 1/2 size down seems correct, a bit snug, but is already conforming to my foot as I break it in. Quality shoe. Construction seems excellent, certainly you won't find anything nicer at this price.

I'd also recommend: Magnanni, Allen Edmonds

Great pair of shoes. Bought these for my wedding and they were amazing. Got a ton of compliments, too, which never hurts.
