I have a slightly narrow foot and this shoe is definitely a good fit. I am normally a 9 or 91/2 so based on the reviews that said it runs abit small i ordered the 9 1/2. Fits very well and supports my arch which is also abit high. Considering ordering them in the brown too!

Bought this yesterday in black from a local shoe store, so I tried it on a few times first. I wear a size 8 generally, but have to be careful because my foot is a bit on the wider side (enough so that I gave up buying Nike shoes because they run too narrow for me). I almost passed on these because they did feel a bit narrow at first. But then I decided to try loosening up the buckle a couple notches, not thinking it would really make a difference, but it did! They felt great after that and I bought them in black, size 8.

Yep. It is true. Order a size up! I like the way this shoe looks and feels on my foot. My ankles pronate inward and this shoe prevents them from doing so. Great Support. I've been "trying them out" for a couple weeks now. Just wearing them in the house to make sure I really like them. I usually wear tennis shoes around the house. When I've been on my feet for a while, my feet begin to ache even in tennis shoes. I have found that if I take my tennis shoes off, and put on these shoes, my feet start to ache less! There isn't much flex in these shoes, and I thought that I wouldn't like that. But I'm getting used to it. It could be that I'm just accustomed to the flex in tennis shoes and I just needed to broaden my experience!? I'm keeping them.

I usually wear an 8 in a closed toe shoe, but go up to 8.5 for walking or athletic shoes. However, my toe literally hit the end of this shoe even in the 8.5! I will try 9 and 9.5, but I've never worn such a large size. This shoe's leather is stiff and I would guess will need breaking in. But I'm willing to try since it gets such good reviews.

These are fabulous shoes. I am on my feet for 12 hour shifts. These are the first shoes that I could wear all day without back pain.
