I ordered these to fill the need for a "light hiking boot-meets-heavy sneaker" niche. They fulfill my hope. I wore them all day on a rocky construction site, and they were super comfortable. I normally am an 8.5, sometimes a 9. I ordered these in an 8.5, and they were big. I noticed in the label in the tongue that the European equivalent was 40.2/3 (how weird is that?). Well, I'm typically a 39 in European sizes. So I sent those back and ordered the 8. It came, and says it's equivalent to a Euro 40. Whatever, these fit perfectly and I just love them. They do run large, however, so take that into account.

These are such snazzy shoes that are remarkably comfortable for my hard to fit feet. Usually I wear Keens for the roomy toebox. These would not do for someone with really chunky feet but they are fine for those with fan shaped feet like mine (yoga teachers love my feet, shoes usually do not). I have not taken these out of the house yet but they are so far so good.
