Yes! This is a comfortable sandal. The leather is soft and doesn't chafe my feet, and the footbed is even softer. The design is a bit plain, but if you have trouble finding sandals that don't tear your skin to shreds, this is a reasonable solution. I might have to scuff up the soles a bit since they're on the slippery side, but I could walk all day in them and be fine.

I am sorry to say that I was disappointed in the shoes for a couple of reasons. They were nice and comfortable to wear, still 1- The gel thingy made my heel move in the shoe and I kept twisting my ankle the way novice high heel wearers do. Embarrassing. 2- The shoes got destroyed within a matter of months, and became too beat up to wear. That's too bad, I expected better from Fitzwell.

Very well made for the money. I have a narrow foot but the medium width in a half size larger will work for me.

I did not like the hidden elastic slit on inside side of the sandal. Very disappointed.

I have a huge foot, thanks to frequent swelling and I'm a heavy woman, which means a lot of weight on feet. I don't usually wear any type of heel due to knee and back problems, but this 1 1/2" is quite comfortable, due in large part to all the extra cushioning at the heel and ball of the foot. Couldn't say about arch, but even with heel, I can wear this one all day. I actually like the simplistic design, nice clean lines. Good all-around, everyday shoe. First time ordering from Zappos, and to find so many shoe styles I can wear (in extra wide widths), I'm hooked! I ordered more the same day I received my first order!

I wear a 10 wide ordered in navy. Very comfortable shoe and true to size. Wore them new, walked all day and felt great with them on the whole time.
I'd also recommend: Hush Puppies, David Tate, Easy Spirit
