- I.G.S® (Impact Guidance System) is an ASICS design philosophy that employs linked componentry to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike through toe-off.

I'm not a runner but these shoes are really fun to wear to the gym. The white letters on the front and back of the shoe glow in the dark. I am used to wearing Dansko clogs at work all day, so these shoes didn't feel like they had much arch support for me. I usually add something inside the shoe to give me that support. I had to buy them at the store because Zappos didn't have them yet. Thrilled to see them here now. They were flying off the shelves!

The style is cute and quirky, and I loved the colors. It made me happy just looking at the shoes. However, when I tried them, I found them to be uncomfortable. The mesh upper was very stiff/scratchy, the tongue bothered my feet and the insole was not cushy. These were not flexible at all for me to do exercises that require flexibility and responsiveness. The cuteness wasn't enough for me to keep these shoes as I knew I would never run in these. I would only wear them to look "cute," not to exercise. I overpronate, and I keep going back to the Nimbus model, the tried and true shoes. I will keep my old Nimbus until the new Nimbus 14 model comes out in April-June, 2012.

I work 10 hour days in a flower shop, on my feet all day! I needed comfortable shoes and wanted fun colors to match our work shirts. These are it! They were so comfortable right out of the box and everyone comments on them. I had always worn Saucony or New Balance before, I'll never go back! Thanks Zappos!

This great athletic shoe is a virtual confetti circus party! The fit is perfect and it feels like heaven! It makes you want to be in the center ring. They are happy foot gear.

These run about half a size larger than I normally order in Asics. I wear a size 8½ but have always ordered Asics in a 9½ which is perfect. I ordered these in a 9½ and they were a little long. They are not as cushy as my Gel Nimbus. I love the crazy colors, but I am exchanging them for a pair of Gel Nimbus.
