I bought these shoes to be sturdy and durable for my high intensity plyometics and cross training at the gym. They were not good. When I did a burpee, the sole completely bent and my toes bent back. Bad news for people who do push ups.

I bought these to replace the previous New Balance cross trainers I wore when doing low impact versions of exercise DVDs at home (P90X, Insanity, TurboFire, etc.) because recent weight loss also included the size of my feet. These shoes are very cheerful, comfy, and very cushioned (mostly in the toe but also throughout) for the price point. I plan to "Sweat It Out" with them as much as possible. Once again, nicely done New Balance. And thank you, Zappos!

Cursed with wide feet and bunions, it's very difficult to find a good, comfortable work out shoe. I do Zumba and Body Pump and needed a shoe that could accommodate both flexibility and arch support for lateral movement and these work great. Also have a very comfy insole. Best shoe ever!

These have been the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worked out in. I always have foot pain after doing Zumba, but these gave optimal cushioning and control, while still being very light weight. I had to return the first pair to get a half size larger, so they run a little short.

Very comfortable, lightweight shoe. Fit true to size but did seem narrower than standard. Works great in my TaeBo classes. I also love the colors!

Listen to the reviews that say these shoes run a half sized smaller and save yourself some time! I had to return them for a larger size. Now that I have the correct size, I love these shoes. I use them for working out at the gym and they are great on the treadmill and other cardio machines. What i like most is that they are very lightweight and flexible. Also look great too. Just perfect for the price.

I tried on these work-out shoes at a New Balance store on a visit to the US, but they only had hot pink in my size. I mentioned that I had a coupon for Zappos, and the store checked and saw that Zappos did, in fact, have the shoes in black. They arrived promptly, exactly when Zappos said they would. Now to the shoes. Even in wide width they're a bit narrow for me. I immediately changed the laces to New Balance's nubby laces, as the originals slide around so much it's hard to get them tight. They bother the sides of my feet when I'm working out. I think next time I'll try NB zumba-style work-out shoes. For now, these'll do, but I'm not thrilled with them.

I bought this shoe for working out (kickboxing, step classes) 4 days a week. I found the shoe quite comfortable for wearing around town, but the neoprene material seems too squishy and not supportive enough for my active pursuits. It feels like you are walking around on memory foam, but without any of the weight. The shoe fits correctly, but I sometimes felt like the insole and uppers let my foot "slide" around too much inside. As a result, it felt like I didn't have enough support. I would recommend this shoe if you are not doing anything too active.

Love these shoes. :) They're very cushy and comfortable. I do Zumba workouts in them and they were great. And I get tons of compliments for my Spiderman shoes. :) Just so you know, the color isn't extremely red as in the picture, in certain light it can look kind of deep magenta.

I found these shoes to be really comfortable. The fabric on the toe box has the right amount of stretch to it. I get lots of compliments on these shoes at the gym. My only complaint is that they don't absorb that much shock. I wore them in a step class and they weren't that comfortable after awhile. But they are great for general exercise like the elliptical and lifting weights.

Bought these shoes for Zumba and working out. My last shoes would rub and cause blisters because of the flexible material the shoe is made of, these shoes do not cause blisters. I have wide feet and the toe area really accommodates. I only wish the soles, where the balls of my feet are, had more cushion for the impact of aerobic exercise.

Very soft, comfortable shoe. It may help, a little, on eliptical machine where I spend about 40 minutes. My hips were aching and I think they feel better but the padding on the bottom can make my toes fall asleep if I don't wiggle them a little.

These look cute but I should have listened to the reviews that said they run small. I wear a size 10 wide. These were both too short in the length and not wide enough. Very disappointing because they look so nice and I was eager to try them on the machines at the gym.

I ordered these to wear while doing P90X- specifically, plyometrics (high impact aerobics). I was a bit worried about not being able to get them in a wide width. I love these shoes! They are so light weight but very soft to the touch. The fabric is very forgiving, so they are not too tight on my wide feet. The size 9 fit true to size. I don't know how well these would hold up in the real world, but for indoor or gym activities, aerobics, zumba etc they are awesome!
