I ordered these from the Donald Pliner website on Christmas Day, and they filled the order on Tuesday. I had them on my doorstep on Wednesday. I live in Houston and the weight of these boots is perfect - the feel of the stretch metallic is wonderful and the fit is a bit on the small side. I ordered a 7 narrow (I am usually a 6½, but I went up half a size because of the pointed toe). These look fabulous on, are virtually weightless, making you feel like you do not have shoes on. They are stylish and the metallic flecks give them a special look. You can wear with all black and the metallic detail and silver heel insignia really give these some flare!
Brands I'd also recommend: I am a Donald J Pliner junkie - rarely buy another brand - timeless style, comfort and unprecedented quality make Pliner a 'go-to' for me almost anytime I need boots!

I wanted these to fit so bad. They are beautiful and sexy and dressy. However, they are so difficult to get on and off that it is not worth the battle! The black just has a sparkle to it - not flashy or trashy - just dresses them up! Hard to rate the fit since they are next to impossible to get on my foot!

Boots are very slim to the leg, which is good for my smaller calves. There is stretch, but I would say it is minimal. The boots are beautiful and the metallic leather is just a faint hint of silver sheen showing throughout the deep matte black leather. Definitely a fashion boot and not at all for wet weather. I really like them!
