I landed in San Francisco ready to walk the city in a pair of Cons...first purchase after day 1 of sightseeing, these Merrell Eagle retro boots. They saved the trip! So light and comfortable and no breaking in needed. I could walk to the moon in these!

I bought these for my girl for Chanukah and she hasn't taken them off yet. She wears them everywhere, sometimes questionably appropriate places. I would consider that a ringing endorsement.

I recently ordered the Smoke Pink and Blue boot! They were the cutest hiking boots I have ever seen. The redish color is actually pink and they very cute. Day Hikes they would work but for extreme hiking not enough ankle support. Very cute. I ordered a half size bigger as Merrell does tend to run small. I wear a 7 in most all shoes and a 7 1/2 in this shoe gave my just enough room. :)

Love these! Bought these to replace my 10 year old Merrell hikers. I was in desperate need of new shoes. I did put in my Superfeet for more arch support but overall, the fit is great. Super cute and super comfy!

I love this boot! It is super comfortable. Plenty of room in the toe box. Get compliments everywhere I go on the red color. Only complaint that I have is that there is not much arch support. I put in my orthotics and the problem was solved. Can't say enough about how much I love these boots!

Been searching high and low for a hiking boot that would still look cute with regular clothes. This is it! The fun colors are a nice break from those dull outdoorsy color most hiking boots are. I'm taking these on a long-term backpacking trip, and can't wait to test them out more!

Awesome boots! I took these out hiking and, without a break-in period, they were so very comfy. And true to the description, they don't weigh much at all. Highly recommend!

I ordered these from Merrell because the color I wanted was sold out on Zappos. In any case, I was hoping they would fit like these amazing vintage '80s Nike hiking boots I had that wore out. The design is sort of retro, but sad to report the shape and fit is more like any other Merrell, ie sort of wide and chunky, in my opinion. Not quite cute enough. They are definitely wider looking than in the pictures. However, they are very comfortable and the fit is not wide just the look. I was looking for a cute old-style boot, not a functional hiking shoe.
