- The Iggdrasil collection was inspired from a trip to Finland and is known as the Tree of Life in Nordic mythology. It was an immense ash tree, planted by the gods, rooted at the center of the universe with branches that encompassed the whole world.
- Made of pull grain leather which is treated with river stones to naturally temper the hide. If you examine the leather closely, you can appreciate its grain or irregular texture - proof that it has been treated completely naturally.
- Full side zipper allows for easy on-and-off wear each and every time.
- MICROFIBRA® lining which has a great capacity for absorbing humidity, for maintaining complete breathability to the skin, and for providing a fresh and dry feeling.
- Insoles are a recycled carbon compound that give added support and breathability.
- The exclusive Frog Shock System is a specially cushioned insole that absorbs the harsh impacts to the heel.
- The Comfort Last is anatomically angled. The outline adapts to the natural shape of your foot.
- The Recycled Rubber Outsole is environmentally conscience. El Naturalista uses leftover rubber that most would consider industrial waste and reutilizes it to make these original soles.

These are extremely well-made, beautiful boots. They are gorgeous, quiet and comfortable and I can tell that they will last many years. I will definitely be getting more El Naturalista shoes in the future.

I love these boots. Easy to slip on a go. I wear them skirts and jeans. Lots of compliments. Very organic look. Very well made. I can where these without inserts. I have bunions and the width works.

This is a new brand I'm trying. So many good things to say...I love the style of Iggdrasil as a casual boot. I bought the brown with red embroidery color, what a statement. It is a very comfortable boot that is made in Spain from leather that is specially tanned. The soles are made of recycled rubber. The inside of the boot is as soft as butter from the tanning process. For me, there is no break-in time due to the softness of the leather. The rubber is very cushiony and you can walk all day in these boots. These look great with jeans, slacks, leggings, and tights. The style and embroidery is so beautiful I don't want to hide them...many compliments! I'm not a real tree hugger, but the company story is very inspirational. They are providing a quality product made in Spain that is helping the environment and donating to 4 children's charities around the world. I've been to the El Naturalista web site and they have some really fun looking boots and shoes for winter and summer. Zappos, please offer more of their shoes/styles.

What a shame--these are such gorgeous boots, but they are too small. I wear 37's all the time and they tend to even be big on me, but these were just MUCH smaller and uncomfortable. I wish they had other sizes. Oh well.
