I ordered this shoe on a Friday & received it on Monday. First time I have ordered from Zappos & I'm very impressed with them on how quick I received the item! I like that you don't have to pay a shipping fee. Love this sandal - absolutely perfect. I can't wear most styles of Birkenstocks because of size and shape of my foot, but this sandal is perfect! This is my first pair of Birks in 20 years, because that's how long my first sandals have lasted. Of course, there were quite a few summers during the latter years where they only got worn one or two times, but I would never think of throwing them away, because I still love them. The Adrias are perfect and so comfortable. I especially like these because they're very feminine looking. I wear an 8 1/2, and ordered the 39 and got a perfect fit.

Loved the look of the shoe but the straps were not comfortable, both in between the toe and down the foot. Very strange connection of the straps at the toe and they feel like they are digging into my foot. I am returning.

I purchased this sandal in the tobacco color, and just love it! It is a perfect brown color, and the distressed look is super cute. I have one pair of Birkis clogs, but this is my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. I wanted a sandal that was not only cute, but comfortable and not too clunky. I must say that this shoe definitely fit what I had been looking for. Very cute and comfortable. I am thinking about getting a pair in black!

As mentioned by another customer, the buckle rubs the top of the foot. Did Birkenstock even test these? Wore them for 2 days to see if they would break in, and just felt like my foot was bruising. Wrote to Birk and they suggested I try moleskin. Should not be that complicated! I might put mine in the wash to see if that softens them enough. Total bummer and strange for a company known for comfort.

Due to arthritis, Birkenstocks are among the few shoes I can wear. These are my very favorite and much less chunky and clunky than most. They're really comfortable and are cute with Jean, capris, shorts and not even bad with casual dresses. Most days, I put these on as soon as my feet hit the floor and wear them through the day.

This is my third pair of Birkenstocks, and these run the smallest - not true to Birkenstock sizing versus my other pairs. I regularly wear the Gizeh style, and these seem close to a 1/2 size smaller in length, but about the same width as those. Since this brand of sandals runs so large, I wear a 38 which is listed as equivalent to 7 or 7.5, but all the other shoes in my closet are 8.5. I love these because they offer arch support and generally feel good to walk in. I originally received a defective pair which had a large glob of glue on the toe strap on the right foot that rubbed my skin very uncomfortably, but other than that they seem fine. I had to adjust the buckle to the tightest hole for the best fit.

I love these flip flops! I did get a blister, but I was in a hurry to break them in. They are now very comfortable, I am happy with them.

Ouch! Loved the way they looked, but the first time I wore them they actually cut the tops of my feet where the straps go. Because of the way they are designed the straps are kind of edged onto to the top of your feet. Really hurt! I was very disappointed because I adore Birkenstocks.

I thought these shoes were adorable, and Birkenstocks never fail in the comfort department. However, these did. After walking a mere 15 minutes to class I had two huge cuts on the tops of my feet from the rubbing. The foot bed is comfortable as usual, but the straps are killer.

I love these sandals! I'm a flip flop kind of gal and how cool is it to find a pair of Birkenstock flip flops! They match any outfit and the comfort and arch support are outstanding. I wear size 9, so I ordered 9-9 1/2. They were too big. I called Zappos about exchange, and I had the smaller size - 8-8 1/2 on my doorstep the next day! They fit perfect. Wow is all I can say about the people at Zappos. You guys know how to treat a customer! Thank you so much.

Not a fan of the Adria. I like the Gizeh much more. I ordered both and immediately preferred the Gizeh. I wanted to like the Adria more because it's a little more feminine, but I just didn't find it comfortable. And, actually, I think the Adria and the Gizeh are probably equally un-feminine. I didn't wear them long enough to see if the straps rubbed my feet (as other reviewers said), but from the looks of them, I wouldn't be surprised. Regarding the sizing: I wear a 6.5, but ordered the 36 instead of the 37 (Zappos has the 37 marked as fitting sizes 6-6.5: no way!). It had plenty of room, even for someone who's a 7. Finally, the colors: I think the Habana, a rich chocolate brown, is much prettier than the Tobacco, which is drab and almost doody-colored.

Please give these a go. Initially I felt the discomfort that others had written about with the leather strap rubbing on the top of my foot. But I love the style so was pretty determined to make them work. Give them a go and wear them in. They soften up and become so comfortable. It's well worth it!

The sandals arrived promptly and fit very well. My only negative is that the strap between the toes is a little rough and I am used to thongs. Other than that, the sandal is fine.

Nice sandal. The midnight color is a dark charcoal blue, not black. The flip flop style is a nice change of pace for Birkenstock.

These shoes are great. Some people have said that the buckle area rubbed their feet and I had no such problems. The leather was very soft and I have received nothing but compliments. The shoes also arrived quickly thanks to Zappos.

These are so cute! They take some time to break in though, at least for me, because the leather over the top outside of the foot digs in a bit, until it gets softer. If you are experiencing the same problem, just keep wearing them a little at a time, and then they'll be super comfy.
