  • Butter London™ created a line of high-fashion nail color that is completely toxin-free: no formaldehyde, no toluene, no DBP. These posh polishes come in a range of colors from mild to wild and everything in between. All with fun Brit-inspired color names!
  • Color names and descriptions: (note that some colors may currently be out of stock)
All the Queen - A neutral nude beige with tiny holographic sparkles.
Artful Dodger - A true teal-trendy without trying too hard.
Aston - Sultry toffee color that looks like a million quid.
Big Smoke - Mildly metallic navy blue as naughty as a night in a smoky pub.
    Blowing Raspberries - Deliciously berry.
Branwen's Feather - Purple-ish black with loads of depth and shine.
British Racing Green - Dark hunter green - a fave during fall fashion weeks.
Bumster - Inspired by Alexander McQueen's perilously-low bumster pants. A yummy buttery yellow.
Chancer - Deep "crushed glitter* red
Cheeky Chops - A happy banana color.
Chimney Sweep - A little sexy, a bit dirty, this metallic charcoal grey is hot, hot, hot.
Come to Bed Red - The name says it all. A true seductress red.
Diamond Geezer - Platinum, silvery and shiny. Finger bling that looks like the real thing... but not.
Fash Pack - Putty meets mushroom. This chic color just works.
HRH - A proper royal purple.
Henley Regatta - Glitters like the Thames on a sunny day, this fusion of green and blue glitter varies in intensity depending on the light.
Hen Party - A sheer opal that is neutral and stunning alone, and utterly on-trend as an edgy overcoat.
Jaffa - A juicy orange color-seedless but potent.
La Moss - Vampy and full of red wine... just like its inspiration.
    MacBeth - An orangey coral.
Marrow - Hand-mixed for the Vena Cava designers, this dark purple is positively posh.
Muggins - Not your mum's lilac! An opaque shade that packs a real punch.
Old Blighty - Good, solid brick color--somewhere between red and brown.
Pillar Box Red - A good red that will make you feel your best... even when you're faking it.
Pink Ribbon- A classic French pink.
Primrose Hill Picnic - Happy, punchy tropical fuschia pink. Like running barefoot at the park.
Queen Vic - Elegant red wine meets cranberry. A color fit for a queen.
Rosie Lee - A parade of pale pink glitter.
Saucy Jack - Dark blood red.
    Scoundrel - A medium-tone purplish mauve.
Snog - Bright, happy hot pink.
Tea with the Queen - Pinky tan that's neutral but never boring.
The Full Monty - Full-on molten gold that's never brassy.
The Old Bill - Beautiful copper with an antiqued patina... for sophisticated metalheads.
Victoriana - A fab blue-green with sparkle galore.
West End Wonderland - Classic gold varnish worthy of Studio54.
Yummy Mummy - This medium beige is stunning on every skin tone.
Pearly Queen - Winter white with pearl sheen. A very soft and wearable shade for when you want to look prim and proper.
Royal Navy - Nautical and naughty, this navy is the answer to your dark lacquer dreams.
Thames - A soft, blue-green stunner, with just a tiny undercurrent of gold.
Dahling - You don't have to be darling all the time. Sometimes a deep, dusty pink is the ticket and very posh, indeed.
Cream Tea - Barely there and ever so sweet. Pale and creamy, an alternative to your standard clear or sheer pink.
Frilly Knickers - Iridescent pastel glitter that looks like sprinkles on your nails. Lifts and embellishes other colors, but is also beautiful alone.
Hoorah Henri - One part clear, one part vanilla cream, two parts love.
Minger - An edgy burnt orange that "ups" the fashion factor for any outfit.
Tramp Stamp - The color of dark chocolate. Delicious and forbidden, but not particularly sweet, like teenage English boys.
Union Jack Black - Jet black and uber-glossy, this goes on like liquid patent leather.

I'm not a nail polish person, but I've ordered 6 of these so far: the basecoat, topcoat, royal navy, branwen's feather, blagger, and primrose hill picnic because the colors are so beautiful, and they make me happy. The polish doesn't chip and easily lasts a week. I'm going to order more colors because I'm obsessed.

'Chimney Sweep' is a deep rich grey with a tinge of beautiful blue. Very different, very pretty. I love these quality polishes. So worth the money.

Fantastic polish. Beautiful shine, longest lasting polish I've ever found. I take it to my manicurist, and she loves it too. Striking colors. Note: Don't try to twist off the top - its just a cover - pull it straight up. The brush has its own top.

This goes on smooth and is long lasting, even without bottom and top coat (although if you want a salon look take the extra time). Beautiful colors (I have four now) with lots of pigment and depth. I am very happy with my purchases. La Moss is a dark Cabernet with no shimmer and Bronwen's Feather's is definitely dark purple with shimmer, not black with purple. Chimney Sweep is a steel gray with shimmer as well.

I love this company but this color is my favorite. Something great about this company is that they don't use any harsh chemicals and when you put it on your nails it looks fabulous. Me and my friends use this brand all the time we love the names of the polishes.

I ordered the color "Tea with the Queen" which was true to the color in the photo. A subtle pink. This was my first butter nail polish and I have since ordered several more. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it dried/hardened. Their formula smells less toxic than many other polishes, granted it still smells like nail polish, but definitely creates less in the way of fumes. It goes on smooth and glossy and wears well. Get it! Also get Melt Away - the cuticle remover - it is fantastic!

I saw this polish in a magazine and I couldn't find it anywhere. I remembered Zappos has a beauty section and there it was. I took it to get a pedicure and was told that it went on well and so far has stayed perfectly for two weeks. It goes on as sort of a pewter, black and almost a little blueish (the way that really dark hair is sometimes described as blue-black). Very pretty without being goth. Read the disclaimer about having to send this item by ground. It took five days to receive. Not terrible, but compared to Zappos standard next day, it seemed long. Also, do not order any other items with these ground-only products as you will wait five days for everything. Place separate orders so you get other items next day. Zappos is trying to do this already, and that is why they are the gold standard in online shopping.

I love this line, my mami is a nail tech so I have easy access to OPI and Essie polish. BL dries fast, colors are vibrant, and my hand nail color did not chip. The chipping may be due to the nail not being cleaned well before applying the polish. The nail has to be prepped properly before applying. I got my first mani with this nail polish (Snog color) at the Peninsula in Beverly Hills. Generally I do not like color on my hand because I hate to wait for it to dry. This dried fast and lasted almost 2 weeks. I do think this lasted so long because the nail tech prepped my nails well. She didn't use polish remover before applying the polish. I also bought the Stiletto Stick and it is amazing. I apply this stick before bed, and my feet are soft the next day. Best is that my hands don't get messy and don't have to walk to wash my hands, and it smells fresh wonderful! I just bought the Powder Finish cream and in love again! Absorbs fast and smells wonderful! It's worth the cash spent!

I was very pleased with the quality of the Butter London nail polish Tea with the Queen. It is so lovely and tasteful. My nail lady says it is very good polish because it dries fast and is shiny. It is the most expensive polish I've ever bought, but for a special treat. Well worth it.

I got All Hail the Queen as my first Butter London purchase. This is the most beautiful polish I've ever seen. It's a taupe with halo effect. In the sun you see blues, greens, reds and golds. Gorgeous. It is not glitter and can be worn to the office. The only thing is, mine got thick after my 3rd use. I used some nail polish thinner (not remover) and it is fine. My mani lasts about 5-7 days with Essie's Good To Go top coat. I'm going to try Butter's top and base coat with it next.
