Bought this shoe for an upcoming trip abroad; it would've been very suitable but is a little too wide for my narrow foot. The shoe felt very true to length size, however. I also noticed the leather across the top of the vamp is very stiff & would take a lot of break-in time. Seems to be a good shoe overall, but I'm returning it.

Love these shoes. The toebox is nice and roomy, so I have to go down half a size. I wear a 6 1/2 W with most shoes, but need a 6 W for these, so I have to wait for them to come in stock. This may only be true for the smaller sizes, since previous reviewers said that they run small.

The most comfortable out-of-the-box of the shoes I returned. After a time, it was tight across the bones on the widest part of my foot. I am not one of those people who has the patience to see if shoes accommodate to me, so I sent it back. But with great reluctance, I must admit. It looked good, and the arch support was fantastic.

They run about a half size large. Also, the color in the photo is more pinkish-beige. The shoes are flat beige.

Desperate to find that perfect flat that looks great with capris, not too youthful like a lot of the cheap flats, not old lady looking. These looked like old lady shoes to me.

Good looking - and appears it would be very comfortable, but it runs so large! Well made; worth considering if the shoe would fit. Am not trying a shorter size.

Love these shoes, comfortable right out of the box, have been wearing them in rain (and even snow), daily use for over a month now and they still look new! I like the styling of the shoes (appliqued), they look less boring than plain ballerina flats, and less casual than athletic shoes Selecting a size: they do run a little large but it's easy to find your perfect fit, go down 1/2 size. I usually wear 7.5 in Rockports but 7 fits perfectly. They are so perfect that I have just purchased a 2nd pair of black ones so I will be set when I wear the first pair out and will likely purchase a 2nd pair of brown ones, too.

Not a remake of the wonderful shoes I had 30 years ago! The fit is different, the style is different (what's with the orange inserts?). And, most importantly, the leather is of vastly inferior quality to the original shoe which is supposed to be a remake of.

I bought this shoe for work and was looking for comfort and good arch support. As the other reviews stated, the shoe runs large. I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8 which fits perfect. The shoe is a bit stiff and will wear well when broken in. I wore the shoe without socks and some of the black dye did rub off on my feet.

I'm always looking for a comfortable, stylish flat (but not too flat) shoe. I seem to be in between a size 5 and 5.5 and the 5's fit fine in this shoe. I wear a 5.5 in most other brands so I think I can say these Rockports run just slightly large compared to other brands. They are very comfortable from the start. I gave them 4 stars for style just because they aren't the most stylish shoes in the world but they are still really cute, in fact I got several compliments on them from younger women. (I'm 33). I love that I can find my small sizes at Zappos and I love the free shipping both ways! I just don't know what I'd do without Zappos.

I listened to the "buy a size smaller" recommendations and the shoes ended up being too small for me. They are rather stiff, so not loafer like, which is what I was looking for.

Love these shoes! They are stylish and comfy. I find them a little loose in the heel but I tend to wear them with socks and don't mind it. Good arch support and well cushioned. Seems to be good quality construction.

Love this shoe! They have become my go-to shoes when I need something professional, comfortable and easy to wear. I agree with other reviews that they run slightly large and the leather is stiff (but not uncomfortable?). I ordered a 7, my usual size, and this 7 has a little extra room but not even a half size difference. Additionally, the sturdy construction kept it fitted. For me that means this shoe will stand the test of time and maintain its classy good looks. I am ordering the same pair in black as soon as they become available.

Bought these for work and I stand and walk all day long and these are great feeling. Not Remarkable looking, more plain vanilla, but neither do I feel dowdy in them. All in all, a winner.

Love, love, love this shoe! All day stylish comfort at last! I forget I'm wearing them at the end of a long hectic day. They are a smidgen wider than normal, but that's a plus if your feet swell a bit after a long day. The shoe is sturdy, but not stiff. You do hear the firm sole hitting the floor, but the comfort is well worth it
