I think MBT is brilliant but these particular shoes do not have a comfortable inner shaft, bruising your feet on the upper side even through thick socks - only half brilliant.

I just ordered these shoes yesterday and came home from work today and they were waiting by the door. I am female but almost 6 feet tall and wear a size 11. I have the original MBTs in the women's 11. Those shoes have always been a little narrow in the toe box and bordering on too short, but I have kept them and worn them for a while. I ordered the MBT Kimondo because I needed a waterproof shoe for walking the dog in all kinds of weather. I ordered the men's 9.5 and the size is perfect. The toe box still looks narrow so you don't look like Frankenstein, but is more roomy. The shoes are lightweight. They are not as high and cushy as my original MBTs but still have the MBT effect and great arch support. They are also far more stylish than the regular MBTs. Also, in the regular MBTs, I experienced a lot of high slippage even though I don't have a narrow heel. The Kimondo's don't slip but they don't rub either. These are basically ready to wear out of the box. I just went outside with my dog. We just got hit with 15 inches of snow yesterday. Although I didn't stand for hours in the snow, I did track through it for 20 minutes and no wet feet. Decent traction on the snow for a sneaker. Not good on the ice, but then again what shoe is? The shoes are very lightweight. Overall, I would recommend these shoes for anyone that needs a casual sneaker that is waterproof.

The shoes are fantastic for what I am looking for; great woaking shoe that will stretch your achiles, hamstrings, hip flexors, and lower back. If you are going for looks, forget it, but if you need a fantastic pair of walkers or work shoes that will help to tone, these are worth the price.
