9.5 was too long, 9.0 was too narrow, and 9.0 wide was way too wide. Ended up returning them all. Regular 9.5's from DC, Oakley, and Nike fit me beautifully.

I almost cried when I had to return these shoes. Merrell is the most comfortable brand of shoe for me and they make so few styles in wide that when I saw these available I was thrilled. Unfortunately I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. The opening was unusually narrow. My wife who wears a size 6 Med did not easily get her foot in either. I am so disappointed! I never even got it on my foot.

Merrell makes a comfortable well made shoe that grips surfaces to make you sure footed on any surface. I would recommend them to a friend.

I have had a pair of Merrell's and loved them! This new pair will also be a favorite of mine. These shoes are well constructed and stylish. The soles are excellent and cushion your step and will as prevent slipping. The material the shoe is made of seems easy to care for and looks great.

I wear an 11 medium, and ordered that size in the World Legend. The shoe felt at least a half size bigger to me. I could put my index finger behind my heel in the shoe. Ordered a 10.5 medium and they fit like a glove!

I have a narrow foot so I was nervous about these shoes being too wide. I put a pair of heavy duty insoles in them and they were just about right. With heavy wool socks I will take them out. The area around the heel is fairly narrow so that really helps. They are leather lined in the heel area so they should wear well. If you have a really wide foot these might actually be a bit tight in the heel for you.

I liked the shoes a lot at first. The fit was good and they were very comfortable. The problem is they started squeaking really badly after a few days of wear. I believe its the removable inserts that are squeaking. I am now forced to return the shoes.

This is a comfortable work/casual shoe with wife-approved style. I do a combination of sitting and standing for work and have been pleased with the comfort of these shoes throughout the day. I have a wide foot and notoriously finicky feet including a very high arch which these shoes accommodate well. Surprisingly though, I have been wearing an 11 consistently for the past several years but needed to scale down to a 10 in this shoe and still have plenty of room for thick socks if needed. This is my first pair of Merrels and I would consider buying another. I've been wearing the shoes for two months and the shoes do not show any signs of unusual wear.

I've been wearing Merrell shoes for the past three years because they're really comfortable, look nice with slacks and have a deep foot bed for orthotics. Ordered the Passports last year, went for these this fall because they looked more feminine. Great shoe at a great price!

Great shoes except the insoles are not compatible with them. The material on the bottom of the insoles squeaks profusely against the leather lining of the shoe. What worked for me. Chuck the insoles and replace them with a good pair of orthotics.

I bought these shoes for my husband for Christmas. I gave them to him a couple of weeks early so he's had time to wear them before I wrote this. He broke the heel of his foot some years ago and has had trouble finding shoes that are comfortable. He says these are the most comfortable shoes he's ever had. They slip on and off easily. The arch support is just right and the width in the toe section is not too loose. He takes a size 9 and a half wide and he says they fit perfect. He's on cement all day and says his feet don't get that ache feeling at the end of the day with these shoes. I guess he loves them. The price is great and the shipping was very quick. I've bought shoes from Zappos before and this is why I keep coming back.
