I have very difficult feet and these shoes are amazing. Because of the lacing you can tighten where you need it (for me, little ankles) and loosen where you need it (for me, history of surgery on my forefoot). Super comfy, no arch support really but soft foot bed, and cute to boot.

I am so in love with these shoes! I\'ve been very much on the hunt for comfortable walking shoes that don\'t look, well, like walking shoes. These are perfect. They are so cute but then putting them on is like walking around on pillows. I got them in a full size smaller than I normally wear (I\'m a consistent 10 and mine are a 9) and they\'re just lovely. I can\'t speak to how they\'ll wear out as I just got them but their beauty, comfort, and chicness are undeniable!

Ridiculously comfy and they're actually cute! My friends laugh when I tell them my gladiator sandals are from a brand called "Gentle Souls" but none were laughing after a day of exploring New Orleans on a recent vacation. These shoes look more expensive than they actually are. That said, not only will your wallet thank you, so will your feet. Love them.

I love Gentle Souls! They are comfortable and stylish and don't tear my feet apart like some other brands do. They are definitely worth the money. I hope they come out with more colors for next spring/summer.

Love this sandal. It's beautiful and the color (lavender) is just lovely. Not as much arch support, or is it heel, anyway, not as much as I'd expected (or hoped), so I feel it when walking a lot (or long distances) in these sandals. Also, every time I walk a lot in them I get blisters on the bottoms of my feet, both feet, up at the top, underneath the toes. So I now wear them for just moderate walking. They sure are cute, very expensive, but cute! And considering how many sandals I've tried, these are definitely among the most comfortable.

This sandal is so comfortable and beautiful that I wish I looked good in it. I\'ve got short legs with defined muscle tone and alas, I look even shorter with the ankle style and the dark color. My fault. Sadly I\'m returning this pair. Opted for a different gladiator pair in bronze that blends in with my skin tone.

I love my Gentle Souls! For the first time, I ever dared to order shoes online. My feet are very slender except for bunions. The Gentle Souls I just can lace up, leaving the width were I need it. Beautiful shoes have always been my weakness and I took for granted the inevitable pain over the bunion area. When I wear my Gentle Souls, I hardly feel they are there. The first time I wore them I got compliments on them right away and they have not stopped since. This town here is not into high fashion and my Gentle Souls definitely are eye-catching. Before ordering, I read in a review that the size is very generous and I should have listened. Half a size smaller would have been perfect. Now, when I get a compliment, I think "Gentle Souls, eat out your heart."

I've admired this sandal for some time - have even seen it in a few catalogs and I finally decided to try it. I feared that with a fairly flat footbed it would be uncomfortable - not so! It's padded in both the heel and ball of the foot, and the leather is like butter. So soft. And with a narrow heel, I have difficulty with sandals... not so here! This shoe is so cute and so comfy. In love! I'm also in love with Zappos. You guys rock!

I agree with the other reviewers who said these sandals were soft and comfortable, but I ordered them for an upcoming vacation that will involve a lot of walking -- and I hate the look running shoes - but I felt that the sole was just too thin and flimsy and that the sandals were not worth their high price. I loved the idea of a memory foam sole, but it was so thin that it didn't offer much padding.
