I now own 4 of these jackets, and I could not be happier. The jacket is not bulky, but it stays warm even in the wind. Zappos.com had a grey one with yellow zipper pulls that I could not find anywhere else. Also, the overnight shipping was excellent.

Just received the jacket yesterday, so my review is based on my initial assessments on fit, etc. I ordered an XL, and it fits pretty well. I am 5'9", 220 lbs, usually wear a 17 - 17.5 dress shirt and either a 44 or 46 suit coat. Jacket seems to be roomy enough to wear a thick sweater underneath without being too tight. Sleeves are a bit long, but not too bad.

This is my second Apex Bionic jacket (first one was a medium-Black) -and I bought a small-asphalt grey now. Buying an Apex Bionic is like an investment in GOLD. Buy and forget for life. The only qualm I might have is the length of arms is a bit longish (on both the jackets that I have - so I guess TNF needs to review their ratios for lengths to sizes).
Brands I'd also recommend: The North Face and Nike

This is a great jacket for fall and spring and rainy days. It's light, but keeps you dry and warm. Not bulky at all, a nice snug fit. I got it in size S being 5'8" and it fits perfectly. Zappos: are you guys wizards? I ordered it on the weekend and it's here Monday by noon! You guys are the best.

Great coat, it keeps out the rain and wind. If it's under 40 degrees it gets a little chilly but slap on a sweatshirt and you are good to go. My go to coat up here in the PNW.

I bought this jacket in the Andes Green color for my boyfriend for the holidays. The color is beautiful and it is keeping him happily warm in the Michigan winters, as well as allowing for the movement he required for work. Zappos is amazing! It was here the very next day!

Bought this for my husband and he LOVES it! Perfect for wearing any chilly day; warm, comfy and stylish. While it's not a heavy jacket, it was warm/wind resistant enough for him to wear snowboarding.

The jacket fits great providing ample warmth for such a thin and lightwear jacket. The outershell is windproof, which means that it is warmer than their soft fleeces. Highly recommended.

Merry Christmas Zappos! My sister and I decided that I would get her three kids their much wanted North Face jackets. We searched for a very long time online while on the phone for a brick and mortar store to make exchanges/returns easy. Nobody, even the NF store, had all choices available. Zappos did! She said "oh, I love Zappos, I can exchange easy!" Ordered on 12/9, received 12/10 free! Jacket is light weight, but dad wears his all winter. Kids will have to layer with hoodies, but they like that it isn't bulky and restricting.

After purchasing this jacket I realized that I was one of the only ones in Colorado that did not have this jacket! What a great jacket. I do not like wearing big bulky jackets. This one is far from bulky and hard to believe that it is as warm as it is with how thin it is. Very warm and great in high winds. I have tested it down to 1 degree so far and it is great! This newer version has the cinch strings around the bottom so you are able to close off the bottom of the jacket unlike previous versions. Would high recommend this jacket to everyone in any climate.
